Had a good first half vs Arsenal and put in a good shift against Man Utd on Saturday. He's scoring goals too so I'm reasonably happy with him. He's still only 20 so I reckon he will turn out to be a good player once he settles into the Premiership and matures a bit. He's a lot more attacking than I thought he would be. A lot of journos seemed to be billing him as a defensive midfielder when we signed him but he's not cut out for that role despite being 9ft tall. Good player and he will be a very good player in a couple of years but he is a terrible dirty b******. Already picked up 5 bookings and he's only been here 3 minutes and he must've commited about 12 fouls versus us. He's more just clumsy and is pretty rubbish at tackling really. Paul Scholes-style Gives away a lot of fouls but I can't remember him putting in any actual bad/dirty challenges since he got here. Bar getting booked for celebrating the other night his bookings have all been for persistent fouling. Definitely something he needs to work on!

The league is crazy this year. I reckon all 3 relegation places and all the UEFA places will still be up for grabs on the final day. Only the CL spots will be sewn up as usual.

I wouldn't be surprised if they went down tbh If they stick with Ramos for a little while longer then nothing will improve imo and 3 of the next 4 games look like surefire losses- Arsenal, Liverpool & City. Say they draw the next game against Bolton and lose as expected in the other three that would leave them with 3 points from 12 matches. It's hard to see them going on a good enough run to reach 40 points in the remaining games.

I do find Merson quite funny though, at least he's got a personality. Proper pissed off today mind. We were the better team in the first half and deserved to go in 1-0 up. Then Moyes sends them out to defend in the second half even though defending has been our weakpoint all season. Total f***ing idiot. He cost us the game single handedly today. Milner has been playing U21's football since forever. He's like that thick kid that got held back in school for a few years.
