Sergei Rebrov launches repulsive racist rant
2sheds replied to The College Dropout's topic in Football
How old is this story? I can remember reading the same quotes at least 2 years ago -
Of course he was. Who else would be the 'impeccable source' the papers and nufc.com quoted when the Keegan story broke?
-
I made a thread about this gobshite a while ago http://www.newcastle-online.com/nufcforum/index.php?topic=54033.msg1383552#msg1383552 I expect to see his name pop up whenever there is anything negative to say about the club. He must be on triple pay this week tho

Why would anyone take a brand new baby to a football match?
-
Fuck me 4 years down the line people still cling to the myth that the most respected manager we've ever employed had somehow 'lost the plot'. Those who sang "you don't know what you're doing" - and those who defend this must be cock a hoop at the way the club has been since he left. That in a nutshell is why we will never win a thing. With our fans we don't deserve to.

I left the ground thinking the refereee was a w***** for not sending off Sorensen when the score was 2-1 And I wasn't alone in thinking that The last sentence is fairly telling aswell EDit here's the link http://www.buzzle.com/editorials/8-30-2004-58663.asp

They're only directing flak at those who left the Wolves game and who are now calling for a stand to be named after Sir Bobby. They are only directing flak against those they encouraged to show their displeasure at Bobby's team Niall Don't think you can blame fans for that. We finished 5th but it was underachievement at the time. The most ardent of Robson supporters would admit that I would have thought. Doesn't mean they think he's not a legend for what happened the 2 years before that. 5th was an over achievement for a team that had not had a single penny invested in them for over a year. Absolute b*llocks. Name one side who finished below us that season who should have finished above the side who finished 3rd just 12 months earlier. By that reckoning, Man Utd finishing 3rd this season would be an overachievement since they've signed nobody, yet Chelsea, Liverpool & Spurs in particular have strengthened. The name you're after is Liverpool. They invested £14.5 million in their team buying Le Tellec, Finna, Pongelle and Kewell while we never spent a penny. As for Man Utd have you forgotten they signed Tevez, Hargreaves, Nani and Anderson for last season.? If that's nobody it still cost them £50 million to sign them. It's not Fergies best squad (in his opinion) for nothing. If you're referring to this forthcoming season I'll just say the transfer window closes in 3 weeks so we'll see who has invested what then.

Nufc.com were at the forefront of the cheerleaders who wanted Bobby out. Months after his departure they were still having digs at him on their website. I really wouldn't expect them to do a full U turn over this matter, tho directing flak against those who left the wolves game (which they fully understood at the time) is a bit hypocritical. A good site - but total wankers when it comes to Sir Bobby
-
I'm jealous. I don't know who these clueless fuckers Setanta has doing the commentry on the game but they are utter wank

Who the f*** are these lot? Apparently their chairman, a chap called Frank Gilmore, is in the Sun today backing up the latest bit of made up journalism Frank go and take your head for a s***. Nobody needs nobodies like you backing up made up crap like this. What doesn't help is you trying to represent dfans views on matters like this.

Bye bye Italy, you won't be missed. Di Natale is a fucking joke who epitomises the shitty, slimy side of Italian football. Ha ha ferking ha
-
Indeed. But on the plus side it couldn't happen to nicer set of fans

All together now the new song for all those Man Utd glory hunting scum: 'He winks to the left, he winks to the riiiiiiiight, your boy Ronaldo treat Man U like s****.' mackems.gif mackems.gif mackems.gif

Hasn't he admitted since he didn't exactly mean it to turn out like it did? no idea, he also had an absolutely top class goal VS the argies i think in 2002. Yeah in France in 98 vs the argies. It's worth searching for that on youtube for the insane dutch commentator alone. Aye, he´s called Jack van Gelder. He´s the Dutch equivalent of the BBC´s radio presenter. His commentary is brilliant and because it´s radio he describes play an awful lot better than your average tele commentator. Worth turning down the volume on your television and listening to the radio. Hope we will get some more excitement of this type in the upcoming Euros! He's pretty good at his job. Even with my extremely limited dutch I would have got the idea that Dennis Bergkamp had scored that goal if I'd heard it on the radio

This could be a loooooooooooooooooooong thread

Thomas apart from David McCreery, who have we ever bought from Man U that impressed you in the way he did when he played for them?
-
But has 12 yellows (12 points, same as smith, just took him 9 extra games to get there) but unlike the bottle blond Sir Nicholas has actually scored. Thrice! Perhaps the answer is NOT to buy anymore Man U cast offs. They almost always turn out to be a big disappointment.

Religion is a personal thing between the individual and their god (if any) Therefore there is no need for churches, so just confiscate their vast portfolio of property. And while we're at it string all those con merchants in their silly costumes up from the nearest lamppost.

Not that I like the bloke but how did Gullit f*** up at Chelsea exactly? By asking for £2 million netto Did a good job though. And he walked away without a penny from us iirc
