Here comes it'll be alright on the night brigade.
One of those sentences that doesn't make sense grammatically, then when you fix the grammar in your head, still doesn't really make sense in terms of meaning and context.
I'd rather he was honest about it rather than bullshitting like most players. If he does the job on the pitch then I don't care what his motivation is.
There is no way Cabaye will be match fit based on 20 mins of action in 2 months.
Yeah, I'll trust the judgement of the coaching staff over the judgement of neesy I think.
People are getting far too worked up over these friendlies like. If the coaching staff weren't happy with the fitness levels of Cisse/Ba/Cabaye et al, they'd be playing. They're obviously content with them and don't want to risk them picking up injuries ahead of spurs.
Happened in one of our matches back when Shearer was playing. He complained to the ref about the 'keeper (my memory's failing at this hour as to who it was) holding onto the ball for more than the allocated amount of time, and we were awarded an indirect free kick which we scored from iirc.
I'm guessing it must be Pardew/Carr who have at least a sizeable input in the maximum offers though, surely? I can't see Dez or Mike sitting and figuring out each player's market value.
He's not the best journalist in the world and much of the stuff he writes in his articles and posts on twitter is irritating and ill-advised, but I'm not sure if I feel comfortable about the whole "Newcastle Online vs Lee Ryder" thing tbh... Not sure why. Just seems a bit juvenile.
