  1. How is it Valvadere still has a job?
  2. Xabi Alonso was a much better footballer better than Mr Liverpool and, from what I could see, that was the problem. Mr Liverpool didn't like being the second biggest fish.
  3. Lingard is trying to offload Lingard. He hired Raiola to try and force a move. He has been dreadful for a year, but there is a really good player in there. Isn't he the guy who said he'd never deal with Man U again after the Haaland deal? So, instead, a week later he tries to f*** up their s***? Was it not the other way around? The man himself said this: “I wouldn’t take anyone there. They would even ruin Maradona, Pele and Maldini”. https://metro.co.uk/2020/01/08/manchester-united-angered-jesse-lingards-decision-team-mino-raiola-12026196/ Then this story: https://talksport.com/football/651038/manchester-united-super-agent-mino-raiola-erling-haaland-transfer-news-rumours-borussia-dortmund-release-clause/ Don’t know what Man U’s version is...

  5. He's right though - Bruce should definitely be sacked for screwing up the calendar
  6. Reddit uses the term "jilling" (as opposed to "jacking") but I can imagine that expression might not fly at NO...

    Joelinton

Don't they come out something like 18 months after the season ends (or something stupid like that)?
  8. My only memory is him being called up to debut for Wales in his 30s

    Sunderland

Feel like we should lock this thread given the mackems did better away to Rochdale than us this season
  10. No doubt RTG is remembering their famous victory in August - and as much as we laugh at them, we couldn’t even match the mackems efforts at Spotland Stadium.
  11. Disappointed my bet didn’t get up, but consoling myself with the replay adding to Brewcie’s fixture pile-up
  12. Was set up for Sorensen, except Brewcie has no bottle and brought on the experienced player
  13. When was the last time you posted about any Spanish speaking player and didn’t call him Mexican? It’s getting to GE- Eddie Howe level of relentless boredom...

    Joelinton

Going from a dumpster fire to a toxic waste dump
  15. All it took was playing a team thirty-odd places below us in the pyramid
  16. Without wanting to sound like an old fuddy-duddy, but I work with young people and I know they can spend hours on YouTube binges watching the most retarded shite imaginable. My 10yo daughter is no better; if allowed, she will just stare at whatever drivel the YouTube suggests for her. Click on one FanTV vid, and it will be suggested to you forever more. China has the right idea about the internet - one government ISP that blocks everything they don't want, and off to the Gulag if you use a VPN
  17. Yes, a fourth right back is exactly what we need They’re turning into a parody of themselves, bringing old boys back. Maybe we should run a sweep on who is next. Perhaps Paul Huntington can come back to cover the defensive crisis?

    Sunderland

Probably worth recording the IP address - and starting a sweep on his next user name
  19. Bruce should kit up and show these youngsters how to play at centre-half.
  20. I don’t know whether to praise you for admitting you were wrong or criticise you for being a wind vane... Actually, too many people on the internet stick to ridiculous opinions; come join the Brewcie pile-on! it’s about the only fun a Toon fan can have these days

    Joelinton

i've repeatedly said i think he could do a job in the firminho sort of role, false nine or whatever, but that would require a coach that knows what he's doing I'm sure I read somewhere that someone was super-excited by this Joelinton because he was the "next Roberto Firmino". That person needs shooting.
  22. Sure, the Diame who looked like Kante would help - but under Bruce we'd get Diame the Geremi impersonator.
  23. Grouping those two together is a genuine insult to Moyes. I wonder what it would take for Howe to be sacked. For a team that is now meant to be fairly established in the league, their results and performances have been horrendous recently. Has he earned the right to take Bournemouth down? That's a really good question - it's a paradox that the longer he keeps them up, the less valid it is to stick with him if they go down. They certainly should be doing better than they are. I remember thinking Wilson, King, Brooks and Fraser was one of the better attacking forces outside the "top six", but they've all been poo this season
  24. It was changed because it was felt to give too much advantage to the attacking side. Circumstances have changed though, and surely a minor advantage is better than the current state of random chaos.
