47th, as long as I finish on the first page I'll be satisfied. Persistence with Enrique and Ben Arfa (though his inclusion has come to fruition) cost me quite a bit. Bale has done fuck all for a while but I'm happy to keep him in in case I drop him and he starts doing shit.

Surely must mean the Ox will go now, almost like for like.

I've said it before and I'll say it again; rename the title 'Pards'.

Not enough top class players nowadays. You look at the top teams and there's very few who would fit in the top bracket of their position in the world. All the mavericks are charlatans too like Ballotelli, Barton etc

IMO it'll be Ferguson pushing for a starting spot, or as you say, the returning injured possibly sitting on the bench. Or, maybe it's just a rehash of the Krul news. French week, what a horrid idea. Our players will probably all knack each others cars in the car park by virtue of being shit drivers, training will be horrendously slack due to all of the players surrendering the ball and deciding not to tackle each other, and morale will be on the floor as everyone at the club will be unnecessarily rude to each other for seven days. Plus, frogs legs taste like shit. I once had frog's legs in an Egyptian restaurant in Hamburg. They were canny, actually. Ooh, look at me. Pathetic. Always wanted in on this craze.

Chelsea's hard work, and they did play very well, despite the Barca bum boys' mackem-esque attitudes blinding their objectivity, will be undone in under ten minutes next week, most likely. Nothing to worry about. Even if they somehow get through, Madrid will match their physicality and have better quality all over the pitch. Drogba put in a 10/10 performance tonight. He did what he had to do for his team and did it perfectly. Not nice but I'd be fucking loving it if he played for us, experience, quality and gamesmanship in equal measure. Tactics not unfamiliar to Barca I might add.

Hey guys, what's going on in here?

Hopefully Wigan get something at Fulham, if they win they'll be morealess clear by the time we play them. Set up there like we did against Swansea and i think we'll do them on the break. So exciting.

Moses is class, quite a few turned their noses at the suggestion of signing him, i'd have him in a flash. He's doing for them what the Zog did last season. Absolutely fantastic performance. Genuinely delighted and proud of them like Neville said.

"Take out ambition and the desire of the player (and/or agent) to stay or go" Basically then, one of the main factors that facilitates transfers. Not much new there, resigned to the fact we won't be going mental in the summer, and probably won't be totally content with the squad on September 1st, but we've been under these circumstances for a while now. Seems a bit pointlessly negative those surmising paragraphs.

Interesting to see how the players deal with having this opportunity. Half expecting their arses to drop and draw and lose to Stoke and Wigan, but then again I thought the same would have happened by this stage and we just keep ploughing on. Players like Ben Arfa, Santon, Colo and Cabaye have all been in and around the champions league before which might be key, even if it's simply believing we can get there.

Never liked Charlton, just one of those clubs I've always hated without justification.

When's the draw for the Europe cup?

Time for the Dirk Destroyer

He's like a David Brent/Karl Pilkington hybrid.

Wigan - the metaphorical turd that won't flush.
