Two decent strikers better than what we already have. A speedy central midfielder. A right back as a matter of urgency. Those are the bare minimum we need.

We've got Leon Best why should we give a fuck?

Ashley will have to stump up for the promised jumbo-tron (or whatever the fuck its called) himself if the WC bid goes tits up. Can anyone remember the official reason why they were banned in the first place?

The Guardian: Newcastle fans held racist protests about Andy Cole's signing
Crumpy Gunt replied to Paully's topic in Football
I've just phoned his number and got the answer phone which directs you to either leave him a message or contact head of media Steve Atkins on 07590771849 -
I fail to see what Jenas did wrong. He had the very good sense to see Souness was a useless cunt and the Toon where well set on a rocky road to nowhere and bailed out. The goldfish bowl jibes where said by Souness not Jenas.

http://www.nufc.co.uk/articles/20100517/club-statement-kenny-wharton_2240137_2054036 Can't think he's done much with the kids. (In a 'produced for the first team' manor I mean)

Benny Benitez: Parky 6 Benny 2 (Benitez watch.). Inter sack the waiter.

That RAWK thread posted somewhere in here is amazing reading http://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/index.php?topic=257942.0 That is scary. Gillet et al are pretending the easy capital of pre-2008 will return. It's not going to anytime soon and in the meantime Liverpool will continue their decline. No CL. What are the odds for mid-table mediocrity next year? They are going to have to sell their blue chip players, it's the only clear way out. hee hee Won't do any good. The banks have only extended the credit to the yanks on the condition that the actively start trying to sell the club. Selling the whole squad wouldn't cover half the debt. Not sure of the exact length of the extension, but you can be sure they won't get another. Bank doesn't give a toss what price the yanks get, because they get no share of the profit. They're holding out for north of £500m, but anything over about £300m will see the wankers make a profit. The upside of it is, the yanks never intended to put a single penny of their own money into the club, and they won't start now. It's more expensive to borrow than when they came in, and unlike Man Utd, there's not a cat in hell's chance that the club can generate the money to pay off the loans. The same will apply for any subsequent buyer, so we might be free from speculators, if not incompetents. Their only sensible option is to sell up. They'll probably try to get two or three bidders into a bidding war in the summer, but I can't see them holding onto the club much longer than that. Thank fuck. LFC will not go anywhere near being sold at the price they will be looking for. -
Pancrates was goal of the season by a country mile and I fail to see how or why folk would think differently. It must only be the fact he turned out to be completely shit that is clouding peoples judgement.

Fly or ferry. I wuldn't have thought it too difficult to get over from NI. I'd be amazed if there wasn't transport available direct to the game, I'd imagine there's shitloads of supporters Clubs running transport. Get on some Rangers websites.

If I can't get reasonably priced rail travel I'll likely look to run a coach to the game. Anyone interested drop me a PM (State preference for travel option and we'll go with the flow.) Can't see it being over expensive either way.

Last night and tonights game show the 'away goals' rule should be abolished.

Being a nice guy got him the sack. Bodes well for Hughton.

Gary Speed got slaughtered in his first season at SJP.
-
There's more chance I will than wont. But, there WILL be folk sitting and thinking 'why the fuck should I bother' - probably the ones who bailed out last season who might want to get back on the band wagon.

I sit in the Gallowgate Upper. Where are you planning on sitting? My mate isn't renewing his ST next season (financial reasons only) If you fancy the 'upper' let me know coz i'll likely get it for £495 as its the last year of the fixed price 3 yr deal. And aye, if you are wanting info on lessons drop me a PM. www.ajhsom.co.uk

Anyone (like me) on the cusp of renewing but now having to give it some serious thought? If I could have logged in on Saturday mine would have already been renewed. Now I'll sit and wait to see what happens.

It appears he's been hung out to dry. It clearly states in 'the club statement' he's contracted for this season only. So why would he even think about going into this season of almost certain struggle and have whatever credibility he might have built up destroyed. If he's honest to himself and he see's the statement in the same light as the majority then he should do whats best for himself and walk.
-
Why would we say that? So, (just out of interest) How much will each Club be entitled to before a ball is kicked. Am I right in thinking that you get £800k more for every position you finish above bottom? (on top of entitled amount?) Overseas rights are to be paid monthly to every Club at £1.7m per month? How much does every live TV appearance bring in? And finally, the new deal also brings in 4 year parachute payments of £20m per season for relegated Clubs as of the new TV deal coming into effect? I'm likely miles out on quoted figures, if so, what are they?
-
In the statement they say "There is no plan for new capital outlay on players." That basically rules out spending on new players if they are to stick to that unless they are prepared to spend what is still outstanding from previous player sales. If they meant they wouldn’t borrow to finance player purchases then that is what they should have said, they didn't say that. Might it mean Ashley will not finance deals from out of his own pocket?

There's a long list of 'home grown' players who are being released this close season. Players who have turned out at reserve level and in reality are a million miles away from getting a go in the Premiership. For Ashleys 'home grown' plan to work we'll need a minimum of 3/4 players making the grade every year until 2015. It WILL NOT happen.

I hope his helicopter plummets from the sky - even if only for the cliched fucking 'Geordie Nation' comment. CUNT.

Can't see why.

Some, if not the majority, of away games were complete and utter shit. As an example - Swansea away. Everyones happy we stole a point, including me considering the woeful performance we put in. Next season we'll get nothing from games like this. It is my biggest worry with regards to Hughton remaining in charge is that especially away from home he has got it wrong so many times. We got away with it in the main because the opposition is/was complete shit. It should have been easier pickings on the road. I have though enjoyed the break from the usual shit of Villa, Man City etc. I wont look forward to £40/£50 admission prices.

Anyone got a link to the dates/times of all the games. Gonna blank some hours in my diary for the better games.
