    Steve McClaren

Where has this good football myth come from?
  2. I don't think there's anyone that doesn't see the risk in this. BUT, surely that generates a bit of excitement, which we've not had for years. I like it. And, so what if it fails, we'll stick lasagne face back in charge and the pressure will mount again on the bellends running the club.
  3. To be fair, they didn't have the worlds best coach hidden in their support staff like we did. Not everyone's as lucky as us.
  4. Thanks for this ON. I looked at it and couldn't see passed it, just seemed to be buying money as you said so I lumped £500.00 on. £681 back. So £181 for nothing. 57-43 is a lot closer than I thought it'd be mind. Yeah - me too. It was 60-40 at half time.
  5. He's exactly what they need.

  7. I reckon they'll pretty much sell out the Olympic Stadium. They're offering the cheapest ST's at about £280. In London, that's crazy cheap. A lot of foreigners (non-WHU fans) will be buy them at that price just to get the chance to watch all of the other teams I would think.
  8. He'll have far better offers than that tbqh.
  9. This is probably right, and we all know it deep down. Mind I'm not sure how 'desperate' he'll be like. He'll not manage a bigger club than us again in his career mate. I think he'd be pretty desperate.
  10. This is it Dave. I can't see a time where they'd appoint a guy with a voice like PV when the alternatives are pure yes men.
  11. Really important point. He dropped his arse big time before the end of the season. The club should be embarrassed to be speaking to the cunt again tbqh.
  12. The thought of Billy Boring's post-match interviews in that fucking boring monotone voice dishing out the latest club propaganda absolutely sickens me. At least Vieira would be worth listening to.
  13. Vieira would at the very least represent 'hope' to me. Hope that he might turn out well. Hope that somebody would have the bollocks to stand up to the regime if he didn't like their ways. Hope that he might 'get' the club. Hope that he might play decent football. Hope that we could have some respect for the clubs most important representative again. Steve McClaren does none of that imho. I really really hope it's not him.
  14. I imagine these assholes locked in a dark room at DOJ with some prosecutor lighting a fire under their asses to knock their sentence down from 20 years to five by handing over information on Blatter Yep - got plea bargains written all over it. Prepare for shit to fly.

    Sunderland

Aye, would be very happy with that actually.

Bit of a shame he's not staying as I think he'd have struggled next season. Nailed on for Fat Sam surely?

    John Carver

Ryder needs to boil his fucking fat head. Why does he continue to publish this utter shite?
  18. Don't know who he thinks he is with all of this integrity bollocks. Clearly a troublemaker if he's honouring agreeements like this.

    Lee Charnley

The 80 man shortlist from January have all seen the sterling work of JC and have duly pulled out in fear of embarrassment or 'tha've bottled it, man' in the words of Carver.
  20. "Sir, Sir! We've recieved intelligence that ISIS are planning a terrorist attack on Haymarket bus station!" "Looka son, I've telt yi once, I've telt yi twice, aal w resources are gannin on bringin' doon the bastards that railedroaded the 2018 bid, Davey B's fuckin' foamin' y'kna"
  21. I didn't say we were or even that we could but, if Ashley wants to appear genuine in his 'new NUFC', then it would take that level of appointment to really get any traction. Steve McClaren or Bulldog face are backward steps in almost every way. Hardly the appointments to galvanise a new NUFC.
  22. If there was any way for Ashley to even try to appear genuine in his statement last weekend, he would have to back it up with this decision. All that stuff about 'football board' and 'Charnley' etc is very obviously bollocks. Who does that board report to? Him. Is he going to accept not having a say in the appointment? Not a fucking hope. The very best thing he could do now would be to make very clear his expectations on the new manager. - Credibility - Good Brand of Football - Capable of uniting a fragmented squad - History of turnarounds and of delivering trophies To me that points to someone of bigger gravitas than even a Garde and certainly way better than a Charver or Boring Steve. For anyone to really buy into his SSSB (Sky Sports Scripted Bollocks) he needs to back it up with a big name. It may be impossible, it may sound mackem-esque but fuck it, we should at the very least enquire about a super manager. They've pretty much all worked at worse clubs than ours at some stage. Why not ask the question of Klopp?
