  1. We have absolutely no quality in the wide areas of their half. Man City might as well take their full backs off for a rest.
  2. Them two just aren't fucking working man. Give him a fucking ball Cisse. Jesus!
  3. We're going to be fucked after 60 minutes. Just chasing shadows atm.
  4. Ref's been right not to book him imo. Next one and he'll get the yellow.
  5. We're going to win today and Kolo Toure is gonna have a mare. Mark my words.
  6. Best centre back I've seen live. An unbelievable player. Seemed to know what was happening minutes before it did, marshalled an unreal back line and was sensational in the air. There's nobody I can think of who can touch him in recent years.
  7. NUFC 2-1 at the weekend @ 18/1 on Betfair. Also backing Cisse to score in a NUFC win if I can find it. Edit - not bothering with the Cisse bet at it's only 5/1.
  8. I fancy us to win this. 2-1 with Cisse grabbing a goal. 2-1 on it's own is 18/1 on Betfair.

If Redknapp turns one of his next few games into a win then they're going to go on from strength to strength imho. He'll be pointing to the fact they're unbeaten since his arrival. Not only that, their Chairman will invest in January. Their next games are Fulham (H), NUFC (A) and then WBA (H). If they turn over Fulham that would be 6 points from 12 since HR's arrival. I fear they will too.

    I'm hoping for a disspiriting dire 0-0.
  12. Had a decent game for him last night. Probably a 7.5 performance but, in a bizarre way, it highlighted why he should have been replaced in the summer. He was in absolute acres of space time and time again and failed to put in an effective cross. He was (or rather should have been) our most effective outlet last night due to the sheer volume of space and time he had and yet it resulted in nothing. It's almost as if Jol and Co. wrote him off and just said to his players not to worry about him. A good Simpson replacement would have us in the right half of the table this season imho and that's absolutely no dig at him. If we had a Santon on that side then we'd be so much more balanced/effective.

    Alan Pardew

He's very vocal on the touchline imho. I can't think of a recent manager who's been as involved from that point of view. Even Fat Sam was fairly pensive for a big fat loud mouthed bellend. Having reflected on last night, my view is that he's got some very obvious limitations with the prime one being we don't have any set style of play or approach followed by a complete lack of movement in possession. His coaching (something which he's actually been praised for from current and previous players) seems to focus more on the negative than the positive (i.e: let's worry about not getting beat and give winning a little after-thought) but he's coming in for some fierce criticism right now, some of it unfair. I genuinely think he's got a lot less time to prepare the team for matches due to the Europa schedule, we have been hampered by injuries and suspensions which, whilst not the be all and end all, have certainly contributed to a lack of consistency and have made us a very stop/start outfit. On the plus side, he's seems to 'get' the club and he's the chosen one by Ashley which means we're going to have to live with the guy. I suspect we'll reflect back in a few years and see that NUFC is the new Everton. Have some good years, have some bad years, sell some star players, buy pretty well and overall are pretty competitive. My gut feeling is that Pardew is here for the long-term the only doubt in my mind is that Ashley absolutely has a habit of being trigger happy/lethal in his business life. You only have to research the sheer volume of Directors/Senior Managers he's fired or influenced their dismissal through his equity ownership to know that once he's not happy then he's going to wield the axe. Surely though, if that time comes for Pardew he'll be having a good go back at Ashley for not being supported in the transfer market, something which any inbound coach would have to deal with. Sometimes, it's just better the devil you know. And with those two running our football club, that may not be the worst thing in the world.
  14. He gets raped off every striker in the league, no point singling out a few who will. Aye, true.
  15. Looked like an over 40's pub player tonight. And that's being kind.
  16. He's going to get raped off Rooney/RVP like.

    Alan Pardew

I just wonder who Mike and Dekka have been schmoozing in the casino whilst Pardew is the gaffer in the same way they went behind Hughtons back.
  18. Wish someone kicked that cunt in the head when he went down there.
