  1. Anyone else think he'd still be here today if it wasn't for Palace sniffing?
  2. Ah yeah, agreed, you can't knock them for trying but you'd imagine Dortmund would be wise to it.
  3. £60m is what Napoli are looking at paying for Osimhen.
  4. Yeah - £50m won't get you him.
  5. Was there an announcement that they'd failed at any point or not?
  6. Rafa would've been publically hung, drawn and quartered by the 'expert' ex-pro's in the media if he's served up that first half yesterday. Good Ole Stevie though cannot be expected to 'have a go' and he's done as well as can be expected with what he's got. Poor fella. Deserves his chance. Nice man. Yep! Fantastic job blah blah - Neil Custis said on the Sunday Supplement last weekend that it should be either him or Wilder for manager of the year  Manager of the fucking year. Wouldn't trust him to manage my local Tesco. Your comments here are shocking really. Then again I guess the lad isn't up during the day writing on a forum about a guy he doesn't even know, no maybe he's too busy you know with managing the club he grew up supporting, earning more money in a week then what people on here will earn in a year, getting to go home to his wife and child at the end of the day. If he puts in the work then one day when he's at work he might win a derby, with a bit of good luck he might even win the cup final. Aye but go ahead, mock the lad on his looks, hate him before he's done a full season for us, because he's got nothing on any of you. I mean how can compete with half the people on here who one day if they work hard enough and sacrifice all their time possibly including time supporting us, or even valuable family time then one day when some of you go to work you might be promoted to the position of deputy shift supervisor at the Tesco's down the road, or possibly even PA to the PA, to the PA of the big boss. Sorry Samp.....Pilko  Read the Colback thread. Oh missed that  Brilliant.

  10. Well that's almost 60% incorrect now (myself included) . Fucking purgatory this......
  11. don't have anything against her and i really feel for her, but i wish she'd be as vocal against the other companies (and the uk government) involved with KSA. The whole thing is a Qatar sponsored PR exercise. Qatar have used her for their own ends.
  12. Considering the acquisition business terms were agreed between buyer and seller and the league as governing body has to approve the sale, it makes absolutely no sense for the club to play middle man. I’m sorry I’ve done an enormous amount go M&A and often deal with a brand type authority required to approve such buyer and those conversations are always kept between those two parties to keep confidentiality and to also keep seller away from those negotiations. It’s bonkers and doesn’t make sense I know! In simplistic terms, it's like selling your house but the buyer has to send all of his plans, financial affairs, structuring etc via YOU. When you see that he's found a unique way to extend it, which will add value, that you never thought of you drag the ass out of the deal, you fuck up his paperwork, you share the data with third parties even though you're not strictly allowed and you basically do everything to influence them pulling out.
  13. I rate him. He got universally slated for his performance in that Brighton game but I thought he was the best player on the park . I mean, he's obviously a cunt, but that's neither here or there.

That's fair enough. Glad I passed the Bruce criticism check. Only minutes after providing a sample, too. Hhwhat a service. There must be another alert other than 'xg', 'fat cunt', 'shite managerial record' and 'useless prick'. Wonder what pinged? Maybe Yorkie's well-reasoned intro is the winner for the Bruce thread. Start every post with it. Maybe something along the lines of; Say what you like about Bruce doing an average to decent job results wise this season, he's a useless fat cunt and I can't wait to see him back in the Champo. See if it sets anything off. Brilliant. Rafa clearly had Almiron on fire end of last season. He got better tactical instructions/details under Rafa than he does under Bruce. Snidey comments when I defend Bruce. Snidey comments when I'm critical of Bruce. What a strange little group. Alreet 'Come Dine with Me' Someone seems to be getting angry again...... Enjoy the mutual ignore. I hope it makes you very happy. Dear lord what a sad little life, Minhosa. I hope now you will spend it on getting some lessons in grace and decorum because you have all the grace of a reversing dump trunk without any tyres on. Take your ignore and get off my N-O. Brilliant.
  15. It's a frankly ridiculous process that the buyers have to send their answers via the sellers. Surely in any other commercial situation, you'd just have an authorisation from the sellers to the PL to vet the buyers? There's potential for huge conflicts of interest at play here. The sellers could slow the deal down. The sellers could see the buyers vision for a club (any club, not just NUFC) and adopt it themselves by playing games to kill the deal. This is a ludicrous way of administering a deal. Kanji[/member] - Man, WTF? You ever even heard of such bullshit?
  16. The Westfield in London is apparently bigger now. Yeah Stratford one?

  20. You think it's too far fetched? If anything, it makes sense to me. Also worth remembering that when he became a billionaire (upon listing) he'd almost certainly have moved some of that money into commercial property as most mega rich folk do. It's just another asset class for them. Alan Sugar for example owns Amsprop which owns a fair bit of London commercial real estate and he bought that after making his money. Makes perfect sense to me too. He can diversify into rent seeking. Yup - as I say, this is me putting 2+2 together and may end up being total nonsense but there has to be a reason he's sold up now, he's on record as hating INTU and we all know he's a vindictive cunt ("you don't know how nasty we can be" Llambias). Certainly a possibility imho and one I reckon he'd have 100% looked at, at the very least.

as he would have been under rafa what strikes me every single time i see him under bruce, in the knowledge it took him months to stop playing him RW, is that wherever bruce plays him his body position (and general position on the pitch) is always wrong to be able to do anything useful with the ball considering how heavily one footed he is Yep totally agree.

  23. Trafford is the jewel in their crown. The ones that always get mentioned on our "so-called" National TV News Stations, are the Trafford Centre and Lakeside. Lakeside only gets mentioned because it is "down South" and about 15 years ago it lied that it was "the biggest indoor shopping centre in Europe" (which it never was, Metrocentre was, and is, that) but of course the Southern Parochials still remember the lie !!! Yeah Lakeside is very much in Bluewaters shadow too hence why Trafford is certainly their best asset. John Whittaker (original developer of Trafford who subsequently swapped it for shares in Capital Shopping Centres who later became INTU) would want to take it back personally I should imagine so there would be one rival of Tubbs straight away if my notion was proven.
