Maybe with the exception of Real Sociedad, we'll be the team nobody in pots 1-3 will want in their group. Undecided for me yet if I want us to form part of a group of death, or get an easier draw with a better chance of reaching the knock out stages.

Getting in two wingers when we've recently spent 40m on one and have 4 first team wingers competing for 2 spots (and now also competing against Isak it seems) is crazy Besides keeper it's the last position we need to strengthen imo.

Fraser, Lewis, Dubs, Gillespie, Darlow, Hayden & Hendrick aren't on expiring contracts. Doubt we'll buy their contracts out, and also doubt we'll find anyone interested in spending money on them or willing to offer them wages close to what they are on already so best case scenario they are loaned out until their contracts expire. Wouldn't mind keeping Dubs though. We'll struggle to find a better 2nd choice keeper.

For the most part the team has picked itself, and we've had few games with a long break in the middle of the season so there hasn't really been a need to rotate players to keep them fresh. There were some signs that some players were starting to look fatigued a few weeks ago. Will be interesting to see how he manages the squad next season if he intends to play with the same intensity with the additional amount of games.

We definitely need another striker to have more options from the bench, cover for injuries & more competitive games next season. Someone like Danish Rasmus Højlund would be very exciting. Have no clue if he is a realistic target or not though.

Burn, Longstaff and Miggy are going to be invaluable to us next season. With the league, two domestic cups and one european cup it's simply not sustainable to play the same team like we've done for the most part this season. If we're able to move on squad/reserve players like Krafth (good luck finding a buyer when he hasn't played a single minute since coming back from long term injury though), Manquillo, Lewis, Shortstaff, Dummett, Darlow, Hayden, Hendrick and Fraser then we should do that, but besides them we should only add to the squad not sell anyone.
