Surely will be overturned?
-
Would be a very throwback Newcastle line-up to have a home grown CB that will be playing in the lower leagues in 2-3 years time playing at fullback. What's Edgar, Huntington and Ramage up to these days?
-
Big compliment for Maddison, who is more like the English Siem De Jong.

I'll raise you with Babayaros brother dying of tuberculosis

First name on the team for me in games like these. Should probably be more sparingly used against teams that will offer us the ball more though.
-
"best understanding" is a nice way of putting it Gordon simply refuses to play the ball to the overlapping fullback, whether its Dan Burn or Lewis Hall he will cut inside and either lose the ball or play it backwards.
-
We signed him same time as they signed Anderson? Can't speak for anyone else, but if you go back and check I was not happy at all, though admittedly that was more due to us selling two of our brightest talents. Didn't really care what the fee was.

Could have been £100m or £200m. Wouldn't matter since we'd had paid £90m or £190m for Vlach in return. Forest got him for peanuts.

Pep would gobble Brunos cock if presented and invited.

Somehow I feel violated after those last 30 minutes? Fucking get in.

I mean, might as well go in properly if they are going to dive anyway.

Penalties and headers it is then.

Luque was great at Depor, and had a great debut for us against Man Utd. Everyone saying they were wrong to think he would be good for us, while strictly true, needs to add to the context his injury, not being taken properly care of during his time out, coming back into a struggling team, being used all over the park by a crap manager and losing interest in the game for why it ended like it did. Turning back the clock to 2005(?), not knowing whats to come, I choose Luque over Boa Morte 100/100 times.

They draw Denmark, Højlund bags them the winner while Isak plays the whole game and has like 2-3 touches of the ball, with him losing possession every time.
-
If you build a system around him then sure he'll get you a few goals. Basically the 2020's Kevin Nolan.

They had rock solid defenders and a manager who set them up to be difficult to beat. If you don't conceede you always have the chance to win. Norway are dreadful in defence, with a manager that tries to set the team up not to be beat despite having the vast majority of key players in offensive positions. Lesser teams will be easily disposed of due to our superior attack through no fault of the manager, but when we face decent teams I fear we'll crumble like an old soggy buscuit.
-
Going to get 1 point in the WC after every single player shrivels like a wet cheese puff, and our manager starts with a conservative 6-4-0 formation to be on the safe side when it actually matters. It's the Norway way. But fun as long as it lasts.

I think Woltemade is better at pressing than Isak was. Besides, our pressing requires multiple players pressing at the same time so it's not fair to focus on one player.
-
Perhaps. I don't know, hence why I'm asking. We've heard Howe mentioning the "no training" a few times now. Genuinely curious what that actually means, and how we do it compared to other clubs that deals with european competition.
-
I wonder if this is normal at other clubs? It makes sense that the players playing the majority of games don't train at high intensity and focuses on restitution, but everyone else should. Besides, there's tons of stuff you can work on that is low effort stuff like passing, technique, free kicks, penalties, finishing, tactical/game preparations etc.
