Assuming he's not night and day difference in training compared to in a match, I don't understand how Howe can watch Osula and prefer a static injured Isak or crusty old Wilson ahead of him.
-
I don't think it's critical, but the way we could transform our play out of a press with a keeper that can play a bit with his feet is insane.
-
Gordon & Wilson off, Willock & Osula on. Has to be.

Great goal. Hopefully a wake up call. Been snoozing from the whistle after ht. Gordon dreaming about the glue factory.

We've been playing with 10 men with Isak on the field lately too so no difference really.

Callum Wilson: offered 'incentive-based' contract extension (Ornstein)

High risk, high reward for Leeds if true. Wish him all the best, except for the two games against us. -
Enzo getting shit on by a Bruno second game in a row. Not the biggest fan of the rat faced version, but I can get onboard with this storyline.

A Grealish with the Pep shackles removed playing in a free-ish role as part of a midfield 3 rather than a winger, kind of like he did at Villa(?), could be great. As a left winger I prefer Barnes and Gordon. Grealish right now appears like a slower version of our Damien Duff. Carries the ball a few meters, dribbles inside without getting past anyone then passes the ball backwards, rinse and repeat.

If the team is expected to serve goals on a platter for our world class striker in order for him to score, we could literally play anyone up top and just cash in on Isak. I'd say his (lack of) movement, runs and inability to get past a man on top of fluffing fairly easy chances is just as much, if not more, of the problem right now.

Happy to be proven to be completely wrong and for him to secure our CL spot, but based on the last 4-5 games I don't see this injured Isak providing us anything vital. He won't free up more space for other team mates since our opponents knows he's not able to go sprint properly. He doesn't/isn't able to dribble past players, so they don't need to double up on him when he has the ball. He doesn't close down anyone either so our opponents can pass the ball around in defence as they see fit. He hasn't exactly been clinical in front of goal in open play either. Even the game he scored the beautiful placed shot from outside the box he missed a ton of better chances. Instead of risking him further, get him the rest and aid he needs to get us off to a great start of next season is my preference. I know it won't happen though.

Just do the surgery now. Surely if most people on here can see he is injured, then our opponents sure as hell do too. We can't afford to play 10v11 for the last games hoping Isaks aura alone is going to magically gift us the goals we need. We've got other players that are capable of hitting a penalty. Give Osula rest of the season to prove he is capable of being a reliable squad player.
-
They'll be expecting the 5-4-1. Hopefully Howe is preparing his UNO reverse card to make their entire preparation for this game useless.

A one legged Isak is preferred ahead of May 2025 version of Wilson. I don't think his name alone is enough to get an automatic start. He is a passenger right now just like Wilson would be. I know Howe would never do it, but I'd be way more confident in getting results with someone that can run up top i.e Gordon or Osula.
-
Genuinely wouldn't mind if he didn't play for the remainder of the season if his injury persists. Rest of the team is carrying him on their shoulders atm in the hope that they can provide him with an easy tap in or a penalty. Or, I would mind since it would mean Wilson starts instead. I wouldn't mind if it was Osula or Gordon up top for the last two games.

haha get him young Miley

The players seems as nervous as we are ffs kill the game please
-
Ramsdale looks like a nervous wreck. Just refuses to catch the ball no matter what.
-
Neither Arsenal and Man City play a way where they need out and out strikers though. Haaland scores goals, but can't help but feel despite the goals his net contribution to the team is negative with his average 3.5 touches of the ball every game.
-
Fuck Southampton for hanging on just about long enough to give me false hopes
-
Derby got ruined by his failed promotion push. He played really naive football at Chelsea, almost like you'd imagine Steve Bruce would have. Everton had much higher expectations to him than saving their skin with one game left of the season. Shit. Manager.

6 months worth of results vs previous 5 years. Sure good point.

Didn't know Coventry was so desperate/dumb that they had hired Frank Lampard Win win no matter how this goes.
-
Howe shitting on the kids for heading the ball too much

I read it as the 3 + 0.8 being included in the 14.5 + 2.7. If the 6.5 add-on is achieved it would put the total at 23.7 which is well beyond 20m. Why not write "well beyond 25m" if the total was 27.5...? Either way it's a great deal for us.
-
How do you make that out when it literally says in the end "...which could increase the overall outlay well beyond 20 million"?
