He is, except against us.
-
Fucking Will Hughes man. Can he just retire already?! Of course he plays instead of Wharton.
-
Should probably have worded my response differently to say that the team was objectively functioning better with Longstaff in his familiar role than Tonali who was obviously struggling to figure it out.
-
Right before Tonali got his suspension and Longstaff objectively played better than him you mean? Weird that.
-
I'd imagine its a pretty easy choice. We have an effective right footed winger already, so get a left footed one to have more variety to mix things up.
-
I guess I'm just so confident in our long term plan and personnel that I think we'll be competing for trophies regularly soon enough regardless, so I welcome any new challenger disrupting the cartel clubs even if that makes it a bit more difficult in thepry for us to achieve short term success.

Would be stronger than last game when they fielded Eriksen and Casemiro tbf . Still, not the part of the field they'll win the game unless their defenders have learnt how to step up and support their midfield by now.
-
As good as Tino has been covering for Hall on the left, it can't be overstated how well this has worked thanks to Tripper rediscovering his 2022 form.
-
Tino should basically just play on whichever side the best winger on the opposing team plays on. He seems to be a bigger threat going forward on the left than on the right, but I prefer Halls ball playing skills from an offensive point of view than Tinos surging runs.

3 important points, nice little boost to the GD. Seemingly no injuries and Joelinton & Isak got a fairly early rest. Besides the 2nd half being a complete snooze fest I can't really complain about anything. We'll need to step up a few gears if we want anything from our next 3 games though.
-
Osula done in 2 minutes what Isak failed to do for 70. Pressing and winning the ball.
-
Can't be that bad with Isak since he's still on. Don't understand the point in risking him when we're 3-0 against a team that doesn't want to be on the pitch though.

Changes, rest, rotation, new energy please Howe
-
Oof, toxic atmosphere now. If we get a goal quickly this could turn into a 0-9'ish pasting.
-
Leicester defence needs to be publicly executed and replaced during half time. They're not even trying.
-
Feel a bit sad for the Leicester crowd. Not one person not looking absolutely miserable
-
He was here for such a short time I had honestly forgotten how good he was that half of a season. Probably the best of his career looking at his stats, so fair enough. Mitrovic is a great shout. I'll change to him instead

The premise of the question is who would flourish, so I don't think its right to choose people who did so despite playing for us in the Ashley area. Enrique, Jonas, Sissoko, Ayoze, Carroll and Cabaye did flourish for us, and bar Jonas all got big moves away from us due to how well they played. So far I think Townsend is the best shout.
-
We need to get to top 5 first before its ours to lose surely?
-
Aye, it's harder to score goals in Serie A than Premier League, so I guess West Ham got a bargain actually.
-
Can see a good portion of their fanbase turning on Nuno next season due to this, when they have shown how good they can play when chasing a lead like today and against us. "Why don't we start games like this."
-
They had a Jhon Duran to sell for silly money to fund their January spree. If we were to sell someone similar to fund a squad build, it would have to a first team player effectively trading first team quality for squad quality. It might be a good idea, might not. I'll trust the decision makers to do what's best for us.
-
Wasn't that just due to one type of socks last season that were particularly tight/uncomfortable to the players?
-
Scamacca also had success after West Ham, leading the line in an Atalanta team that won the Europa League, scoring 19 goals in 44 games last saeson, which indicates he was easily worth that sort of fee West Ham paid. He just wasn't suited for a Moyes plagued West Ham.
