  1. Easy match after they went down to 10. Professional job and back on track.
  2. The line VAR drew looked way off. Still looks offside to me
  3. Or watching the match while posting with speech to text in the match thread. Embarrasing how some are unable to contain their feelings while typing. Usually that is a method to help people take a step back and reflect a bit before communicating something. Not on here though
  4. I don't know what has been posted before, but at a guess it maybe the way you said it? There's nothing wrong pointing out that the amount of injuries we've had is not only down to bad luck, and one (of few) valid criticisms towards Howe that he should have rotated more earlier in the season.
  5. I knew Lascelles was strong, but to air lift Jimenez by a brush of his elbow is quite somthing.

We're going to see his knee swell up in real time as he jogs onto the pitch. Surgery & 6 months recovery to follow.
  7. Of course, don't get me wrong Was just pointing out that the version of Isak that played against PSG was a complete passenger and woulnd't improve anything if the same version was available today. We might as well play Ritchie or one of the kids as long as Isak can't run.
  8. Based on his PSG performance he won't be a miss at all until he's fit again.

    Harvey Barnes

Just in time for our players to be back from injury and get injured again on international duty.
  10. Low ambition mentality. Strive to be the best we can be is our new mantra and I love it.

tbf I thought so too up until @clintdempsey informed what Howe had told Swedish tv. If anyone who read that post still thinks so then it's ignore list material.

Thanks. Explains a lot, and credit to Isak for playing through it in a time of need.

I know that they won't for strategic reasons, but it would be nice if it was confirmed that he was playing with an injury. Probably the only player I was dissapointed by today. Expected him to come on and bring some energy, pressing and pace to our attack seeing as he only had to play 30 minutes, but he the fastest he ran was when he got subbed on and ran to his position.
  14. Easy to say for us. Not necessarily so easy for those who don't have that high level cup experience with 190 pulse and no strength left in their entire body. Maybe they won't, but I think they will.
  15. Heartbreaking, but what a go we had in the hardest group, with a skeleton crew. League Cup, FA Cup & CL spot still to fight for
  16. This is so fucking tense Love it! Hate it!
  17. If he persists with that, I worry that in time it could spell his downfall, but until then: ... but I've and many others have stated this so many times now I didn't think every post needed to be pre-fixed with this statement any time even hypothetical questions/scenarios are being raised.
  18. It's going to be interesting to see how he manages the squad now when players are starting to come back from injury. Hypothetical scenario: We play Chelsea away, Howe opts to go with Burn at LB as Chelsea are expected to have the majority of the ball. We go on to win the game. I would then be very disappointed if Howe persists with Burn at LB instead of Livramento for our next games away at Luton and home against Forest, just because we won at Chelsea, when we know they will be playing a low block and let us have the ball where Livramentos qualities are more needed to open their defences up.
  19. Gives us more options to rotate the squad and more tactical options for Howe in games we are not expected to dictate the game while having Livramento able to come in on either side and give us something different in attack if needed.
  20. Nice to have him back. If we take the lead against Milan and start to struggle towards the end of the game it could be invaluable to have him as an option on the bench to shore up the defence.
