Dunno, every time I’ve watched Germany they’ve not been particularly coherent, it was basically get the ball to Wirtz and then him trying to do too much and lose the ball. Wolte making plenty of runs and getting no service.

I think the only way he goes is if he has a belter World Cup, given the amount of cannon fodder he could certainly get a few but Germany aren’t great and will likely fall to the first decent team they play in the knock outs. I’d love a Joelinton league redemption arc for him, clearly has quality but hasn’t been the player we’ve needed this season.

On the Leazes plans that were shared a little while ago looks like we would be overlapping the area of the old and new stadium. I assume this wouldn’t be done over a summer so do we have an entire corner of the stadium out of commission for a season or so or would we have to play our games elsewhere?

I’ve always seen their injury issues as a hangover from the Ange era that they’ve just not managed to outrun due to volume of games and the permanent state of crisis they are in. A proper vicious circle.
