Spurs doing a lot of preparation and not a lot of bidding. It feels like neither ourselves or Spurs are prepared to pay what Leicester want for Maddison. Relegated club and last year of contract. Reading the Leicester forums a while back a lot of the fans said the club did this with Youri last summer. Set a unrealistic minimum price and negotiated themselves out of a deal. If both clubs refuse to cave to them then I think there is still a chance we get him for £40/45m.
