  1. We're not. That's kind of the point.

    Alan Pardew

    A) I think that's an extension of having his own interests at heart. He knows he needs to appeal to the fans to gain their support when things get rough. b) He's an organised manager with excellent motivational skills (when things are going well). We've yet to see him in action when the s*** hits the fan. 4-0 down at home to Arsenal? Being beaten at Stevenage? I don't class one bad result/first half performance as the 's*** hitting the fan' - a run of 4/5 games without a win (every NUFC manager has had this except Pards, maybe Hughton?). Fair enough. Surely the fact that "the shit hasn't hit the fan" in 11 months is a kind of testament to the work he's doing and his qualities?
  3. I'm not entirely sure that you can put the lack of injuries down to luck. The Club has said that a lot of money has been spent on improving the training ground and the facilities. Surely this has a huge part to play in keeping players fit? They've invested the money to try and combat our ancient injury problems/hoodoo and are so far reaping the rewards. Investment is the answer, not luck. IMO.
  4. In other news I watched the Liverpool-Norwich game last weekend with a Liverpool-supporting mate. I was astounded but also very relieved when he described Luis Suarez as an 'embarassing twat'. Made me believe in humanity just a little more again.

Not in a million years. He would be the epitome of trolldad with that grin / smirk of his. Going out on the pickup with your Dad. Quality! You do realise that Pards would probably steal all your girlfriends? There are some things that should not be shared between Father and Son.
  6. I'm so pumped up for today's game. Nervous as fuck and can't wait. I think we'll win 3-1 with goals from Best, Cabaye and Saylor.
  7. What a disgusting little shit he is, can't stand his face. Is there a precedent in terms of bans for players who've abused others racially? Don't know. But if you racially abuse a player from the stands you could be given a life-time ban so I suppose that would have to do for Suarez as well.
  8. Once a cuntish cunt, always a cuntish cunt.
  9. As I posted in "The Other Games Today" thread: DarrenCanalPlus Darren Tulett Patrice Evra accuses Luis Suarez of making racist remarks 'to try to wind me up' during #lfc-#mufc. Tonight on #CanalPlus, 22.35. DarrenCanalPlus Darren Tulett Evra on Suarez: 'There are cameras, you can see him say a certain word to me at least 10 times. No place for that in 2011.' #lfc #mufc DarrenCanalPlus Darren Tulett Evra expects action to be taken regarding his Suarez racist comments accusation: 'The referee is aware of what was said.' #lfc #mufc
  10. Patrice Evra claiming that Luis Suarez made racist remarks towards him during today's game. Patrice Evra accuses Luis Suarez of making racist remarks 'to try to wind me up' during #lfc-#mufc. 11. And the best statistic of all time: Goals in Europe: Shola 12 - 5 Sunderland
  12. You enjoying Craig Gardner, mate? Gardner 1-0 Cabaye Surely this "world class" (copyright Newcastle Online) midfielder will find it within himself to score a goal soon. Surely. Surely the more important tally is Newcastle 15-6 Sunderland? Or have I missed something?
  13. And that's the main reason I hate them the most. Luis fucking Suarez. And Stevie fucking G. And fucking Carra. I could go on and on.
  14. I definitely hate Liverpool a lot more than Man Utd. It's a no-brainer. I'd love to see LFC crash and burn.
  15. Sent from my OMNIA7 using Board Express
  16. I admire the logic but bloody hell All pitches in PL have undersoil heating, no? As well as our training pitches.
  17. Played in a lovely cross for Huntelaar's goal vs. Sweden tonight.
  18. Only the Top 10 from last season apparently.
  19. They could offer him £50K/week, with a signing fee of £4.5M for a 3 year deal. That would nearly equal his current deal and not break the wage cap. And it would be cheaper than trying to get a replacement of sufficient quality IMO. What, and keep this ludicrous signing fee a secret from the rest of the squad? Righto. Who said it it would be kept a secret? Look at it like Coloccini replacing Coloccini. Would the players object transfer fees/signing fees being paid for his replacement as well then?
