Ray Wilkins also says he's an adorable chap, and he's rarely wrong.

I've seen him do that 3 times this season. One of the reason's both Hughton and Pardew put him out wide is his complete lack of strength and ability to keep the ball in tight situations. He's pretty crap at winning the ball back.

Barton contributes nothing defensively. He did at one time, but he's a completely different player now. He's a good passer and crosser of the ball, that's all.

I love Barton, but he's a very one-dimensional player.

Gutierrez, Williamson, Best, Ferguson, Raylor, Kadar, Harper Looks like a strong bench to me Not to me it doesn't.

Always somebody else's fault that he didn't score in his last 12 games. Martins, AC and even Lovenkrands managed to get a few in that time. Twas only he that struggled.

If Martins failed, it's because his brain power couldn't quite handle the faster pace and generally more unpredictable dynamic of the English game. Not that I think he failed. Gameiro is different.

Those are the two (along with Tiote) that have had the most Sky Sports fanfare.
