Neesy pack it in man. You say the same thing about him every game. He's struggling in this league, no question, but he battled for the ball tonight, he just did nothing with it.

I think any manager at any club needs to be flexible and adapt things depending on the situation. Not every game is the same and setting up in exactly the same way week in, week out leads to you becoming sterile, predictable and easier to play against. Got no objection to having a preferred formation but if it's clearly not working then mix it up a bit ffs, make the opposition alter their shape, throw a curveball in there from time to time. Inflexibility and stubbornness aren't useful traits to have as a manager. This is exactly why I wanted us to sign Townsend. Our predictability is horribly compounded by the fact our attack is so one-paced and one-sided.

Think it's fair to say a lot of our players don't quite suite the 4-2-3-1, like. On the other hand our best 2 players most certainly do, so it's difficult to argue with when it gets results.

I've said it before but we can disregard a lot of those performances at the end of the season. Being up against teams with nowt or very little to play for makes so much difference.

Darlow is what he is. An adequate Championship keeper with lots of potential to get better but a way short of PL quality right now.
