  1. Of course he is. Just ask Bobby Robson who tried to bring him here as his no 2 a long time back. He's out of our league now, but that's how the cookie crumbles. Fergie's better imo. In terms of ability, absolutely. What levels the playing field for me is the player attraction Jose brings to the table. More players want to work with Mourinho
  2. Riquelme + Martins = goals
  3. £13m is a lot of money for someone who isn't the finished article and has had questions about his fitness the last year. missed 6 games in 2008 through injury right?
  4. dont be daft, Kinnear's a grown man and makes his own decisions
  5. at the game and as far away from the rally as possible
  6. I'd take David O'Leary now like, until June away. He'd instill new ideas, enthusiasm and get rid of the dead wood straight away.
  7. He may be a poor manager but that is simply because he isn't one. He hasn't asked to be in charge of the team, and I think your being harsh with that description of him. It's not his fault he's had to cover for our ill/stroppy/banned managers when they've pissed off. Hughton seems to work so f***ing hard for this club, he's been employed doing caretaker care quite a lot, it seems to be just him and Kinnear doing training, and he seems to be getting a raw deal. Has he complained? Has he hell, he's gotten on with the job. I agree with the fact he's poor at managing the team, but now he's broken his duck, and also with Calderwood on board (managerial experience, albeit at a lower level) I'm not as pessimistic as some. Regardless of what division we're in next season, Hughton deserves a f***ing massive bonus and a medal. I consider the guy a bit of a coward tbh, could have exerted himself and really made a go of it first time round but instead said he really didn't want the job after the Hull game and had the team playing like they didn't give a shit. It took Kinnear absolutely laying into them at HT against Blackburn to get them playing with conviction when in reality Hughton should have been doing it for weeks
  8. had it man, jesus put fucking Wise in charge, get Roeder back, anything but this clueless wimp
  9. gamble my arse, there's precisely no chance of anything good happening with Houghton in charge
  10. Better than Shola but nowhere near ready for the premier league, daft time to be offering new contracts
  11. With the greatest respect to Joe's family I hope this is it for him as a football manager
  12. You know a combination of a poor pre season and getting injured probably meant he has never been match fit thus weve never seen the best of him............... yet. I'm quite curious as to why you've quoted my post there mate
  13. Shola and S Taylor Simply because R Taylor seems to be able to deliver and S Taylor is still a liability wherever he plays in defence.
  14. Sven might just keep them up but I cant see it
  15. which Tosspiece said Xisco had refused to play reserve games?
  16. except when he plays against defenders with their heads screwed on, then he looks as dangerous as Shola
  17. in the case of Ince and Adams it's more a case of inheriting poor/depleted squads than owt else tbh
  18. Sheva, Luque, Owen, Keane, possibly Elmander
  19. Grant should never have been sacked at Chelsea, if he'd been in charge the entire season there they'd have won the league
  20. some of us thought Alan Smith was a good player 18 months back
  21. Ronaldo

    Viduka

3 months then probably to Melbourne Knights or wherever. What a waste of a career tbh, should have been an absolute world beater. That said he's still one of the first names on my teamsheet when fully fit, which is once every sensible Kinnear interview
