Shame the colossal club captain - who's been absolutely brilliant as a leader and a player this season - doesn't like him.
-
Fair play to him. His timing, as usual, is perfect.
-
At this point I'd get down on bended knee for Pardew to be at another club and Beardsley managing us.
-
It's less than a 20 minute drive from Pardew's family home to Palace's training ground. Of course he'll be interested if the money's right. Consider we're paying him a relative pittance - and he knows he's unlikely to receive his top half 200% bonus this season.
-
I can. He's actually an effective conman to the ignorant mediocre-minded masses. Some of them own football clubs.
-
Bit of a moot point when you consider that few players actually deserve 'blame' for their shortcomings.
-
What form is that?
-
Deserves it Give over, man. Shearer did that every game.
-
That's the most half-hearted concession since Al Gore in 2000.
-
What Hype? He's a decent player. No more, no less.
-
Pretty sure I just heard the fans moan when only a yellow appeared for Alsoran.
-
Not sure if anyone picked him over Henry but even you have the sense to acknowledge Drogba was a far superior all-round footballer to Ruud. As goalscorers Van Nistelrooj has the edge, certainly, but he benefited from taking penalties and having no real responsibility barring putting the ball in the net.

Everton look a pretty poor side with a hideously overrated manager but they should beat us.
-
That would wash except for the elephant in the room that he never took games by the scruff of the neck for England either. His short passing is as any Premiership midfielders short passing is. My opinion is were it not for his goalscoring ability, Frank Lampard would be a nondescript, run of the mill player. Except he's statistically created more chances than any other player in the history of the PL (except perhaps for Giggs?). Nondescript indeed. Two things we'll never agree on, Bill. Politics and Frank Lampard.
-
I don't agree. His passing over short and long range was (and to some extent still is) outstanding. Thing is with Lampard, at Chelsea he was always the most important player, but he was still ultimately a cog in a world class machine of players. He rarely had to 'take games by the scruff of the neck'.

Beckham on his best day didn't come close to how good Ronaldo was for the majority of his time at Man U. As for Lampard's inclusion, I think people are forgetting just how great he was from around 2004 - 2011. He had everything you'd want and more in a CM.
-
He had maybe 3 incredible seasons. As magnificent as he was at times you couldn't put him in there ahead of someone who was great for well over a decade.
-
I was tempted to put Henry up front with Shearer and Laurent Robert LW but decided against it.
-
Peter Schmeichel Dennis Irwin Tony Adams John Terry Ashley Cole Cristiano Ronaldo Paul Scholes Frank Lampard Thierry Henry Alan Shearer Didier Drogba Ultra attacking, but so fuck.

Just has a touch of class. Kind of like how even though he was a bit fat Kluivert just oozed class. Intelligent movement, he can always find a bit of space, good first touch, pretty quick, good at jinking past a player and has a real strikers instinct. Puts Cisse and the like to shame in so many ways. 8 goals in the equivalent of about 8 games and you still can't resist.

The way I see it, it's this forum that's changed, not me. The only acceptable view seems to be that Pardew is both fool and knave, and that anyone who doesn't realise this and want him out asap is daft or has been duped. There doesn't seem to be any middle ground on here any more. Believe that if you want, but it makes it very difficult to post on here if your view is different, even to quite a moderate extent. You don't occupy the middle ground, though. Your posts consistently contrast with any sane person's definition of common sense.

Saw that. Same old Southern Boys Club. Load of nonsense.
