That's a load of bollocks, most of the lads I went to games with under Keegan and Bobby stopped going under Ashley and I include myself in that. It wasn't the older ones asking Pardew to give them a wave. Since when do 'most of the lads you went to games with' outweigh the thousands - still going to SJP every week - quite clearly older than 28 that offer absolutely no support to anything opposing the current state of the club? Do you go to the game on magic mushrooms, mate?
-
Ian, I'm impressed.
-
Is that the shortest non-dwarf man in the world?
-
Someone like Garde will want his own coaching team in, surely.
-
I'd genuinely rather have Rowan Atkinson in than Carver.
-
I don't think Carver will still be in charge in 6 weeks, like.
-
Most of them doing that are old enough to have experienced the Keegan days better than we did. They're just useless, ambitionless bastards.
-
Didn't Shola nearly go that amount without one?
-
Did you miss the article that made us all realize how terrible a statistic the odious "win percentage" is? Check Pardew's and you'll drop it like a piece of turd. Pardew's is 42% despite spending several seasons in lower league football. Sherwood's is 59% exclusively in the PL.
-
Bit better than decent, like. I think he was 3rd or 4th in the form table from his first game to last.
-
Not sure I agree mate. When you consider our only Orthodox wide players Obertan, Aarons & Sammy I'm not sure a 4-4-2 would work particularly well in the traditional sense. That being said, I'd have him over trash like Carver & Hoddle. As I said, he isn't the best fit for the squad - that being one of the main reasons why.
-
I wouldn't be disappointed with Sherwood. I don't think he'd be the best fit for this squad but he's got a wonderfully simple 90s style of playing attacking football with genuine width.
-
Regulars in Fratellis apparently. They're in once a month at most, man. Him and his wife.
-
He'd probably be part of the reason for the pummelling, like. Chelsea have only just scraped wins against worse sides than us.
-
The squad with 2 good French players, you mean?
-
Hmmm or Milan and Stoke. Easily the most accurate representations of both countries. I'd forgotten just how important looking at nice architecture is to the modern young millionaire, too. You cannot say you'd rather play for Stoke than Inter Milan I didn't and wouldn't.

He's quite clearly a good coach with a good footballing philosophy. If that's the case then: Why hasn't he used some of this good coaching at QPR - they could do with knowing how to pick up points away from home despite heavy investment? Why has he never coached a team in to Europe or to a cup win? Why did he do no better than Fabio Capello with England? (and poorer than Sven in competitions let's not forget) Why hasn't he worked in a proper managing capacity since 2006? He has obviously limited input at QPR. Kevin Keegan hasn't won owt either. I'd argue that. His England side played really good football and were an incorrect decision away from progressing in '98. Obviously he needed a break from the game, or to find a role suiting his preference for coaching. I'm not saying he's anything to get excited about, like. He's just a good coach that would get us playing a much better brand of football.

You'd prefer coaches with no real top level credentials? Hoddle's not ideal but I'm confident he'd have us playing good football and winning more games than Pardew.
-
Not a chance, man. He'd have shone through in the company of crap like Riviere on his worst day.
-
Making the case against it?

I expected KI's back to be more hairy. Well I found this funny.
