  1. Carlo's such a beautiful, elegant man.

It's set a fair way back from the road.

He'll be eating/picking up in Fratelli tonight. Someone go ask him.
  4. Yes. I'd love to hear what Pardew said to Williamson after the Reading game. Probably nothing, actually.

On the other hand there's a lot to be said for managers prepared to leave their comfort zone and manage in different leagues with diffrent styles and different expectations. There's very few of that breed around, though.

What is it with black trainers in court. Don't this lot own a pair of loafers?
  7. Given that it's not a straight choice between Taylor and Colo I don't see what you're getting at. The pair of them are obviously the best 2 CBs at the club. MYM needs to get some games in if he's going to be up to speed by next season, so playing him with a player on his way out of the club and out of form makes no sense. Emotions don't come into it.
  8. You hated Taylor before I'd even formed an opinion on him, man. It's really time to let it go.
  9. And MYM wasn't here, so why would we want to see him and Colo at Taylor's expense?
  10. On this season's form Taylor should be the first defender on the teamsheet.
  11. We looked far more solid against a better side away to Anzhi, tbh. Against Metalist we could've conceded 4 without Krul's heroics. Colo's done here. I'd rather see Taylor and Yanga-Mbiwa on the pitch with next season in mind. I don't think you could drop Taylor on current form.

We're absoluted fucked if he misses the next two games.

    Papiss Cissé

Fair point. Might not work so well if stands by the corner flag all night, though.

We just need Gillespie to ping them crosses in. Ryan Taylor could hoy a couple of those crosses in like. With a new pair of legs perhaps.

To be a good striker you need an instinct or intelligence that I saw absolutely no evidence of him having at any point during his time on the pitch.

    Yohan Cabaye

As a 2 in a 4-4-2 I can barely think of one game in which we were actually in control.
  17. Coloccini has been worse this season than in his first seaon. We just have a better midfield protecting him now. Not one slow CB new to PL football on the planet would look any good with Nicky Butt in front of him.

    Fraser Forster

    Before FF? Shaka Hislop.

I love Krul but I really miss having a keeper who dives for the ball like a cat and requires strikers to wear a hard hat.

The midfield wizard that is Kevin Nolan, too.

Not quite as funny when you consider that we finished 7th that season and qualified for Europe.
  22. I haven't really seen that in him at all. Looks more of a fox in the box type that will work very hard outside it.
