I would be so pissed off if I had to go to pre-season tour with not a single number 9 in the squad. And he was very clear he wanted quick signings. Club owes it to Howe to get our shit together - and soon. Otherwise he might walk away at some point. Nobody likes to work like this.

This has Bayern Munchen written all over it. Probably loan.

Hugo Ekitike (not playing for Liverpool for a while)

Frankfurt are excellent on transfer market, signed Burkardt early on. One is common with these (Beier, Woltemade, Burkardt) is that all of them are missing that edge to be best attacker in the world. I do hope I’m wrong (as Germany and BVB fan) but Woltemade is nowhere near €100m valuation, would have already signed for Bayern with lower valuation. Both Werner and Sane did look really good younger,I remember watching Sane in U21 Euros back in the days. I do hope this new generation is able to become actually really good players. -

Burkadt already signed for Frankfurt. Woltemade is potential flop, only has one great season and asking price is mental. What I’ve seen, I would regard him in same category with Maximilian Beier. Potential is there but needs the right set-up and does have great chance for flopping in wrong one -

There is not that much young promising strikers and it raises the price. Ekitike only had one great season, same is with Woltemade (Stuttgart). I keep repeating myself but Sesko has much better stats. He is one year younger than Ekitike. It’s weird we are not linked with him but I hope we are working on multipe options and are ready to move quickly to next target. -

I reckon if we can go this high for Ekitike, we can also go that high for Sesko. Sesko seems to be only back-up option for many clubs and might be good option for us if Ekitike goes to Liverpool. -

Frankfurt already got replacement and that is good for us. Frankfurt did plan to sell Ekitike this summer and it may be our advantage. -
I have a feeling we could get much more with that price. And then just buy him next summer from Chelsea for £25m.

You would think Puma can’t get any worse from last season Champions League shirt.. and then this. As a BVB fan I’m desperate to see Puma gone. Bring back Nike or just pure yellow shirt.

That’s good point, but we really need good, long term set-up and continuity. Obviously we are not the only one and not even close to being worst in the league but I think everyone wants committed staff.

It’s not going to be easy appointing new staff with this constant turmoil

Pep will leave this summer

I’m speechless. Finally, it’s been so long. We all have waited this so long. IT’S FINALLY OUR TIME!

As a BVB fan I absolutely love Terzic and at the same time I’m really happy he stepped down. Dortmund lacked general idea the whole season and only turned on during UCL games. There was lot of senior players that did not like his approach (or lack of it), but he was still well-respected in the club because he is great person and long-term fan of the club. However Hummels refused to negotiate extension if Terzic had stayed. He’s been good as assistant coach and did brilliantly at the club as a manager but still lacked the depth to develop the play further. Local hero that gave the club all he can but now it’s time to get more tactical approach on the game. The fact that he stepped down knowing it’s the right decision to benefit the club makes him even more hero. Nuri Sahin has been praised as assistant coach and probably will be the next BVB manager.

Linked with BVB and Bayern and seems like Dortmund is favourite at the moment to sign him. However Pavard is going to Inter Milan so Bayern could move go all in soon.

Ritchie out and Gordon number 11?

As a BVB fan I watch almost every match and Reyna is someone I would not sign. Lot of hype because of young age but doesn’t really provide much and hasn’t developed much during last year or so. He does have potential, but all these injuries and lack of development does not make him highly interesting player at the moment. Because of attitude problems he didn’t play much at World Cup.

Absolutely love this club, this team, these players and the manager.

Marco Rose is (or was) very close to signing with them. Tuchel could change that though. But I have a feeling Tuchel won’t go there straight away.

Chelsea probably dodge the bullet with this as Tuchel is notoriously very hard person to work with. I was very happy when he was appointed after Klopp at BVB. Definitely the best man for the job at that point and very exciting future ahead with him. However he only did well for one season and the second season was just full of bad decisions, odd tactical decisions and fighting with the board. He did win the German Cup which was obviously great archievement but he still got sacked because he was so difficult person to work with. He’s excellent cup manager and could do really well at managing national team but in long-term he makes everyone tired around him. I think that is the reason he got sacked (again). He throws everyone around him under the bus as excuse for his behaviour.
