He seemed to slow down play too much when he was 1 on 1 on the right hand side. He would then turn back and pass to Trippier. It's almost like he hasn't got the skillset to dribble past a defender with a stepover or quick change of direction.

Anderson needs to start in the Longstaff role. I would go for: Pope Trippier. Schar. Botman. Burn Anderson Bruno Willock Almiron. Isak. Joelinton

I think that’s part of Ashworths method as a football director. He doesn’t do the scouting himself, so I’m unsure if he would age the scouting department set up for this yet.

Would it be worth giving Anderson a run in the Longstaff role. He seems to have a good engine. Middle 3 of Anderson, Bruno and Willock. Front 3 of Joelinton, Isak, Almiron

Matty Healy is the man!

Enzo is a good player, but for that money you want to be signing someone who can win you football games off their own boot. He isn’t going to get you goals and assists.

Sterling looks a shadow of the player he was at City.

Honestly think Postecoglou could turn it around at Spurs very quickly. Whether they are brave enough to make that appointment though.
-
I doubt he is out for 6 weeks when he is running at a good pace in his instagram videos. I would assume he’s back for Tottenham at home.

There will definitely be a new kit for next season. Sounds like Castore again with a new shirt sponsor.

I think a desperate promoted club or mid table club would take the gamble on him for say 25-30 mill. He posted a video of him running at 15km/h yesterday on a treadmill. Surely you can’t do that with a grade 2 tear.

It’s a small sample size, but the fact he’s hand a good goalscoring record previously with one season where he was played out of position. He’s now a goal a game striker in the premier league at just 23. He would be worth 80 mill plus. If he sustains this for another season, he’s worth 120-150 mill.

Howe said he was injured a couple of weeks ago and then would need to build his fitness back up.

You want your keeper to be able to play with their feet in 5 a side: On that basis Id go: - Matz Sels - Coloccini - Bruno - HBA - Shearer

I'm not sure if youve watched the A-league but the standard is certainly higher than 3rd or 4th division. Australia fielded a team at the world cup full of A-league players that made it through the group stage and took Argentina all the way. Realistically, lower championship would be the level. Other Aussies that didnt perform as well as Kuol in the A-league have done well in the SPL. I think its a combination of being young and away from family, a new environment and not being played in his best position.

Eddie said that Miggy is out for 4 weeks still?

Would Ivan Toney count as club grown? We could always resign Adam Armstrong
-
I went to watch Milan play Spurs at the San Siro a few weeks ago. Theo Hernandez and Rafael Leao were on another level to every other player on the pitch that day.
-
If he didnt have a suspension hanging over him, Toney should be our number 1 target, if we are looking for a striker.

Top 6 level players: GK: Pope, Dubravka (Backup), Karius (Backup) RB: Trippier CB: Botman, Schar (Backup), Burn (Backup) LB: Targett (Backup) CM: Bruno G, Joelinton, Longstaff (Backup), Willock (Backup), Anderson (Backup) RW: Almiron (Backup) LW: ASM (Backup), Gordan (Backup) ST: Isak, Wilson (Backup) Thats 18 players that are good enough to remain in the squad for next season. I would argue that we need a starting RCB, LB, CM & RW/LW in the summer window.

Is it just me, or has our press lost the ferocity that it had earlier in the season? Is it due to the quality of opposition?

There were Iranian protests at Trafalgar during the day.
