  1. Don’t blame him, they’re flying.
  2. 4 big league games coming up - have to be looking at 10 points. I think we’ll have a better idea once these are done.
  3. Given Howe said he was our best attacker I’d be amazed if he doesn’t.
  4. Chelsea, of course Here we go again.
  5. EH said today some discussions have taken place but nothing concrete, it will be an ongoing process in January depending how the squad looks with injuries. Cards close to his chest as you'd expect.
  6. And he needs a run in the team to be able to deliver that. That's the first time he's started two games in a row for us if i'm not mistaken. Lets give him Man United and see how he does.
  7. Read boy. "The challenge for JJ has been, since his injury at Leeds where he twisted his ankle, he had momentum then and had to start all over again. I think he's just returning to his very best levels.
  8. Its almost like you didnt read the quote.
  9. Read some of the comments yesterday, fans seem to love him.

Amazed anyone is doubting this lad. Has all the attributes to be an absolutely fantastic player for us. He's going to show inconsistencies this season, of course he is. He's a 23 year old kid in his first year in the most aggressive league in Europe. Who has been hoyed in every single game since he signed. We could see on Saturday how the mid week break benefited him, looked a lot sharper. 7 in 14 as it stands I think? Could easily have been in double figures too. No doubts about him at all, give him service he'll do the rest.
  11. Was there to see us batter Everton keep the faith.
  12. Seen nothing from man united to suggest we can’t get a result next week.
  13. Who’s this muppet at full back 🤣
  14. I think point b in particular is probably what’s at work. He looks absolutely shot confidence wise, his decision making tends to be awful. But that aside - and probably more worrying for me, he just doesn’t look comfortable with the ball. We were all hoping for someone to come in on that right side who could really elevate us, but he more often than not just looks like a poor footballer. For £55 million and Eddie’s eye, I was really hoping for a lot more.
  15. I think this is fair. Normally you see signs with players even if it takes them a little longer - but I’m really struggling with Elanga. I like to think I’m really patient with new players but I just don’t see what Eddie was thinking with this one. He’s normally so good but I’d be amazed if Elanga turns this around to justify the price tag. Goes without saying I hope I, and many others, are wrong.
  16. I dunno man, I need to watch the Pedro one back but he didn’t exactly make it difficult for him. Just rolled it through him. Maybe harsh , I’ll need to see it again.
  17. Best 45 of the season. Was like watching the old us. Fantastic.
  18. Yeah I’m not exactly who could be been brought in to rotate, we’ve literally had no options. Even with Trippier fit the drop off is generally too big now that it would hinder us. Vital we go into the market in Jan for some cover.
  19. Actually thought he looked alright when he came on, showed good pace for one of their counters and won a good header late on if I'm not mistaken
