That's what i was arguing. Even if he wanted to be away, we should have been compensated properly for losing a first team defender with Premiership experience. £3-4m would have been more like it.
I don't get how transfers work these days. If we were willing to sell him why don't the club announce that he is on the transfer list? At least then there may have been some competition for his signature pushing the value up.
how do you know he wasnt touted round by his agent to all clubs and no one else wanted him?
optimistic to be honest. rid of lots of dead wood. Brought a few in, more to come. Played some good football at the end of last season which some people seem to have forgotton about.
I think we'll be pretty strong at home this year too.Top 8 would be a cracking achievement.
You don't have to buy them, just go up to Scotland and get the ones they bought when we played Argentina in the WC.
surely it would be easier just to buy one?!
he's not the best in the World, positionally he's not great. But, for what we paid, and for the sheer lack of number, id be very disapointed to see him go.
'No, it's complete guesswork mate'
well, question was more along the lines of - youve got us down as signing collochini, but the club have announced it. Are yee blagging or what?
