Silverstone said they didnt want to be tied into deals when the landscape could look different a couple of years down the line. Hopefully he was referring to this....

In our champions league season, weād won game at this point and drew 5 and had 8 points. Weāve still not clicked and despite not playing great lost only 1 game which looking back could have easily of drawn if Schar puts that chance away. Weāve still got a few gears to go up yet and Iām pretty confident once we start scoring again weāll have a strong season.

Thought he was very good for about 60 minutes then it seems to become very noticeable when heās tiring, few sloppy balls and heās taken off. Guess itāll take a little while to get fully up to speed for the 90 minutes.

I mean so has Miggy. Pretty sure most of them do to be fair, theyāre still in the squad. -
Really special night this, my favourite for sure. From the moment of checking my bank to confirm me and the little unā had tickets from the ballot, to the taxi ride home, Iāll never forget. Made all the better for my 12 year old experiencing it together. Pre match, standing at the windows on the upper floor of Bealim, watching the PSG fans march to the stadium, the sheer electricity 30 minutes before the game in our seats (never experienced anything like that before), the flag display, the noise ⦠Jesus Christ the noise⦠, the PSG fans, miggys opener, more unbelievable noise, and the rest is history. You canāt buy memories like that man, super special.

I actually think Gordon up top might benefit us tomorrow, think his relentless pressing will cause issues. Tonali hopefully the game changer against these fuckers. -
Yet Iāve been to Anfield the last two years against us and and overall the atmosphere has been excellent. Not the whole game, it has ups and downs, but thereās parts where it was fantastic. The Kop end in particular tried to keep an atmosphere the whole game. Are āweā becoming a bunch of wingy fuckers who expect nothing less than non stop noise start to finish or is the reality a lot of people watching on tv and making their minds up and not actually going to games???
-
Im not sure I follow? Why are those games relevant to SJP? Unless Iām missing your point?
-
Amazing how much negativity I see about the atmosphere yet pundits and those generally from outside of Newcastle continually say itās one of the best stadiums/atmospheres in the league š¤·š»āāļø have to say, Iāve been quite a lot over the last two years via the ballot and I canāt remember thinking the atmosphere was particularly shit on many occasions.

Need to keep the intensity we had against City and with the extra quality Iām confident of a win. Although I thought that last year ⦠Memories of sitting in the home end ācorporate end ā ( this is why TCD comment about them made me laugh) and going behind only to be greeted by an 8 year old scouse giving the away fans the fingers and shouting āstupid Geordie wankersā much to his Dads delight -
Didnāt this happen a few years ago then they reverted back? Sure it was when Rafa was here
-
Heās an elite level footballer playing at the highest level. He shouldnāt need a āman onā shout every time he gets the ball. At times today he was just sloppy and weāve seen it a bit too much so far this season. Im a massive Joe fan, think heās a beast, but heās just a bit complacent on the ball right now.

Ah mate, such a lack of intelligence so resorting to shit crack. I played from the age of 10 to last week. I run marathons and Iām in the best shape of my life. Now the insults are out the way, letās talk like grown ups. Joelintons awareness today was as poor as itās been for the last couple of years. Go watch the game back, the second half especially, see how many times he got caught on the ball needlessly, yes you rely on communication from your team but Joe got caught a lot more than anyone else . My 12 year old spotted it, Iād have expected you too as well.
-
He really wasnāt, second half he gave the ball away so much, very good off the ball but really poor on it. Hopefully just an off day.
-
Most outrageous take of the day.
-
Is there something wrong with him? Noticed this a lot recently, sure he hasnāt always been like this?
-
Decent first half, giving them a really tough game. Need better end product at times but still well in this.
-
Anyone able to post the article?
-
Have you been to Goodison?
-
Things can change very quickly, weāve been here many times over the years.
