  1. https://twitter.com/CaulkinTheTimes/status/953355885958631425 Goodbye, cruel world. To be fair, that does not in any way contradict what Ashley said: “It is only right to let the fans know that there is no deal on the table - or even under discussion - with Amanda Staveley and PCP. Attempts to reach a deal with A.Staveley & PCP have proved exhausting, frustrating and a complete waste of time.” If she submitted the bid and he rejected it, it's not on the table. Can't see what her point is in saying the above.
  2. Off out to jump off a bridge. Which one's got the shortest queue?
  3. You can't be looking very hard. They've all been on my television and none of them have cost me a single penny. Aye but not everyone has kodi boxes believe it or not. I completely believe that, because I don't have a Kodi box either. I use my mobile phone. That's it. And I watch the match on the TV. I assume you have a phone? One that isn't a Nokia 3310?

I think Coleman started to believe the hype about himself because he did well with the national team and thought he could take that back to a club side, when in reality if you look at his Wales results with/without Bale it's just that he had one of the best players in the world to call upon a lot of the time who could change games single-handedly. I'm not remotely surprised to see that he's not going to replicate those kind of results at Sunderland.
  6. I've given up hope now. Stopped caring again. I'm going back to just letting it all wash over me. If anything good happens, great, but until then I'll just re-adopt my dispassionate view of it all. I'm sick of this club having a continual detrimental effect on me.
  7. £3.50 each today, so 80 million shares = £280m. Anyone else heard numbers in the region of £300m bandied about anywhere recently??
  8. I don't want us owned by anyone guilty of RAS Syndrome. They can jog on, we'll just keep Ashley thanks.
  9. PCP Capital Partners company status Dissolved it says on there lol. Just seen that. Doesn't bode well!
  10. Nothing's happening, but I'm enjoying the fun nonetheless. I think deep down we all know good things don't happen to us so it's nice to enjoy the hope whilst it lasts.
  11. Yeah, but that could still be enough to be better than Blob and Darlow.
  12. The thing that annoys me most about this whole takeover saga are the people who constantly put an apostrophe in NDAs. They're the fucking worst of the lot. Sort yourselves out, seriously. It's wrong.
  13. Well personally, I'm not prepared to take any chances with this.
  14. Yep, I've set up 2 limited companies before. Even if you're the sole owner, you have to have shares. It's just how it works.
  15. It's all about our intent really, more than the team. If we sit back for 80 minutes before trying to attack, it'll be as bad as ever. Desperate to see us go forward for once.
  16. No strikers? I didn't think it was possible to offer less attacking threat, but maybe Rafa has found a way.
  17. "Duel process" is where Ashley and Staveley stand back to back, walk 10 paces away from each other, and then turn and fire a single pistol shot at their opponent. The winner gets Newcastle United. Think we're in with a decent chance of a good result here as Staveley's a much smaller target, whilst in turn she can barely miss his fat gut even from 20 yards with a flintlock.
  18. Surprised Pep picked himself as manager, thought he might rest himself for this one.

Suppose they're applying the same argument for Kevin Phillips' penalties the year he won the European Golden Shoe? Yes, I'm sure they will be.

Ah yes. Flat track bully. That's it. Still hungover.
  21. As others have said, this is a man who made me actually celebrate opposition goals. Fuck him.

I always thought "Fast track bully" was a legit term, from cricket, relating to fast cricket pitches.
  23. I don't think it was anything to do with the BBC editing, there was just nothing for them to show. I was as stressed as anyone watching it, but they really didn't create anything you could call a chance or test the keeper at all from what I remember. Sure, they had lots of the ball in and around our area and I was shitting myself, but they didn't do anything with that possession.
