I get why people are saying we should have played the first team, but one thing this match DOES do is show everyone how bad our squad depth is. Our fringe players are not Championship quality.

Once Rafa goes, he's knocked millions off the value of the club. The club without Rafa will need tens of millions of extra investment just to stay up. If Ashley wants to sell us under those terms, that's up to him I guess. But it's not in his interests. That said, I don't think he will sell us at all.
