That Pardew interview is so telling.
The interviewer tries to set him up again and again so that he can say how proud he is to be back at Palace as their manager, and on every occasion Pardew sidesteps him. This is a man who repeatedly lies through his teeth but even he can't bring himself to say that he's delighted to be there and proud to be their manager.
Utterly broken.
I'm sorry lads, this is all my fault. I was out down the beach for the fist half, I got back in at half time and it's all gone to shit since.
Don't think I've seen Newcastle have the ball in the Burnley half yet.
Aside from it saying "4-4-2", the ;s denote who is playing in what part of the pitch and have done for years.
It's 4-4-2.
It's Sissoko and Gouffran on the wings.
It's going to be awful.
The only thing that'll bail us out of this is that it's Burnley we're playing and not anyone half-decent.
Convinced the Palace owner supports us.
Well to be fair, since it's a sticking point I can only assume they don't want to pay for Woodman. Otherwise it'd be done and dusted.
Still can't believe I've basically spent 3 of my Christmas days off sat at my PC pressing F5 for about 10 hours a day.
This.
Palace should just keep reducing his terms until he loses his nerve and accepts. He's painted himself into such a small corner now that he has to accept whatever they offer him really.
f*** off
It's just been on. It doesn't matter, he'll not be back here, no matter what.
It does fucking matter. When this broke, I stuck £100 on him getting the Palace job.
I'm good friends with many people, doesn't mean I'd want them managing Newcastle.
I'm sure Carr is switched on enough to be able to see the difference between a friend and a competent job candidate.
