That's literally being a creative player.

Pre-season (2025/26) - NUFC to Tour Singapore & South Korea

Absolutely disgusting that we're in 2024 and people with brown/black skin are needing to ask openly if it's safe to attend a football match. Fucking state of things, absolutely gutting that this is where we are. -
Amdy Faye Geremi Alan Smith All of them just awful in every game they played. And they played 198 times.
-
Why are you thankful Ashley didn't run the club well and invest in it? Seems an odd take to wish for 14 years of misery instead.
-
And so far our owners have done nothing that Ashley couldn't have done if he wanted to, we've spent but not *that* much. Plus it would have cost less if done years back.
-
Loads of Liverpool fans on the comments saying "I can't believe we turned this down, so idiotic to pass this up!" Maybe it's because it didn't happen?
-
That would make me less likely to move, not more likely. And massively so. I'd not be helping out any club that treat me like that, I'd just run my contract down and leave for nothing as a "fuck you" to them.
-
I think the rule is we just add a bit to his £25m transfer fee every time we discuss it, and that becomes the new figure with no further questions allowed.
-
Sounds to me like the MLFs took Westerhope and you just stood idly by and let it happen. You should watch your letterbox.

What a story, and so eloquently told. He should consider delving into the after-dinner speaking circuit, he'd have people enraptured with tales like that.

Eddie Howe - Nominated for Manager of the Season

I don't think they're so much actively malicious, it's just everything they say or do is to drive engagement, and get clicks and calls. Howe to England clearly does that. -
I know we're all hard as nails up here, but it's still somewhat bold to build the new stadium without a fucking roof.

Eddie Howe - Nominated for Manager of the Season

If he wanted more time with his family, he could have it now. He chooses to come in very early and leave late, it's not a job requirement. I'm sure if he announced he was "only" going to do 8am to 5pm every day, nobody would bat an eyelid. It's still double the shift Steve Bruce ever put in. Leaving Newcastle isn't necessary in order to reduce his working hours. -
Not sure that makes it less likely?
-
Yeah Gordon needs a bit of rest after those 3 minutes he played.
-
Whilst I see what you're saying and of course clubs can be successful without such a role, but fucking hell hasn't it been nice just having some decent communications? Why would we want that to stop?
-
Fair enough then, must've just missed it.
-
Fair enough if he does, that could work. Don't think I've heard anything at all from him yet though.
-
Much of her role was really as the spokesperson for the club, liaison between PIF and the fans. A softer public face than an authoritarian foreign regime. That's what we'll miss. Who does that now?
-
I get why she has to sell up, but why can't she stay as a director? Directors don't need any equity. Her selling up shouldn't matter IF all parties want her to continue as a director. If she severs ties completely, that's a choice all parties have made. Be interesting to see what happens.

Nothing's happening, and what's more every time anyone asks about it they actually remove 3 seats from the current capacity.

Pickford's good with his feet but has limited reach. He works for the style England play but he isn't and never will be a truly elite keeper. That said I'm not sure who'd replace him, don't think there's anyone clearly better. Pope is the complete opposite of him, fantastic reach but awful with his feet. My big concern for Pickford is penalties, I just don't see him being able to stop anything that is in the outer third of the goal.
-
Sorry but how exactly is that comment supposed to help me remember which one he was?
-
Of course in their entirely fictitional scenario, they're (as usual) failing to follow the logic through.... If all those players threw their toys out and demanded to leave (Narrator - they won't), we'd have £3-400m to spend.
