Just having a browse on Stavely's wiki page.

I've only just learned Stavley's dad founded Lightwater Valley!

Liverpool winning 7 and drawing 1 from their remaining 8 games does not seem likely to me. That form's been predicted all season and it's never happened. They've won one of their last five.

Dunno, I agree booing and comments like Dyer's fire players up, I don't think that's the same thing as reminding them of haunting moments of failure that they don't want in their head in pressure moments.

I'm sure there was a class picture of everyone laughing at Jenas when he missed an open goal against us on his return to SJP. I can't find it. I can find one of him on his knees but it doesn't show the fans. Anyone have it?

Surely we've got the resources now to have someone personalizing it each week. Haunting images from team x's or their players' past. Missed penalties etc. Get this up before the weekend

Doesn't look good, but maybe a bit of an over-reaction if this was one small part of quite a lot of interaction if she was mascot? But yeah - Pav smiled at me as he got in his car once after a match (3-1 defeat to smoggies in the Coca Cola Cup) when I was 7 and here I am still remembering it 27 years later.

For lower-case supporters, by upper-case supporters.

Both of them scored (and the Fraser goal was assisted by Ashby).

I'm more nervey with him since Liverpool but tbh I think that is more because *I* am more nervous having seen the Liverpool cock-up, more than it is because he has been shitter since then.

They were wearing all black yesterday, and it seemed from the fans like their colours were black and red

Haha class (Never seen a mackem in Victoria. Seen a couple of Newcastle fans though - my boss is one.)

I went to Pacific FC v Vancouver FC today in the opening weekend of the new Canadian Premier League Season. Pacific are Victoria's team (or perhaps could be seen more broadly as Vancouver Island's) and Vancouver FC are a brand new team from the city of Vancouver (separate to Vancouver White Caps). It was good crack- a sell out at 4k. I've been once before. There was a bit more excitement this being a 'local' derby against a new team. Unusually for US/Canadian football there was a proportionally significant away section, and when Pacific scored the player made a full pelt beeline for the away fans to goad them, loved it Ended 1-0. Was quite amused by the small pocket of Vancouver fans, with tifo displays and everything, wondering what they were doing on their weekends last season since this was literally their first ever match.

hahahahahaha I went back to bed after our game (4:30am ko here) and just saw Spurs result

Would only be 1-0 if Gordon had stayed on

Imagine booing lovely Matt Targett
