Are you criticising people for not going to a friendly? I go to every home game (bar holidays of course), half the away games but i never even considered going tonight. It's a friendly, they're boring and merely a practise session. I didnt even check the score til about an hour after. I dont go to hang around outside training sessions either.

I thought the poor work rate was a myth, and though he wasnt exactly banging them in, he got a fair few and it was his first season in the league, and he unjustifiably got dropped a lot, i thought.

I'm not a huge fan of smith, but i do think the smith/gud/vid/sho attack would work under sam. I think he'd get the best out of the players, and make the midfield productive both in terms of creating chances and scoring. With that we wouldn't be as reliant on a world class striker - and at least gud and vid of those are hardly average.

It's funny how people act as if sam doesnt know about his injury issues. I'm sure he knows and think he's worth the gameble or is confident for some reason he can stop it.

That is truly ridiculous. I quite fancied him at about £9/10 million, but even that i thought may be a bit overpriced! And spurs too - you'd maybe expect it from west ham or someone - but £16million! Makes owen seem like a right bargain at the £17 million we paid, never mind £9million
