  1. Yeah, we've had one for years now. During matches the load gets pretty high, one of our previous hosters (when we had a lower spec) actually registered on here to try and diagnose why it kept going down at weekends. IIRC he said how we use it is ridiculous and completely unsuited to this forum software etc. I will donate today. Could you not move to cloud like Azure or AWS? Not sure if running 24 hr may make it more expensive. What sort of resources you got on server ?

Agent Harper it's time to step up. Good luck to him tbh. Just trying to keep his career going and stay close to home
  3. Team out of form and requiring a win, fairly sure we will hand it to them. We are always charitable to teams requiring points.
  4. There is no such thing as a worse Obertan. I'm fairly sure Townsend is a lot better that Obertan even just going off limited viewings of his performances

He was cringeworthy and shit in 90's never mind modern times. I always think comedians using crude jokes and the word fuck or cunt to emphasise every sentence are just relying on an audience with a high mong factor. His song is canny shit as well although slightly topical about benefits.
  6. Imagine being shit after xmas. When would that ever happen
  7. Creative as fuck without even trying. He may be inconsistent but knows how to play. Top passing
  8. I'm happier we are at least looking at british players as I feel we need that balance. Whether Shelvey and Townsend will be a success, who knows. I can see why they have brought these 2 in as they at least have experience of this league and are good enough for mid to lower table. We need to get out of this relegation battle and they may at least offer something in that area and a different threat. I have never minded Townsend, thought he looked quite decent few years ago but could go horrifically wrong.

Na I have f***ing hated him because of what went before but at least putting something in now. Aye suppose mate forget about all that money he saved from the other three seasons of not spending. And the Carrol and Cabaye cash. Oh and forget selling the naming rights for free. Forget Pardew and Steve the budget s*** managers. Oh forget he ripped the soul out of Newcastle and made me hate my local team and most of the thick supporters like you who have stupidly short memory's. But nar he has spent some of the millions from tv money and player sales so f*** it and forget all that could be worse. You are nearly everything is wrong with our supporters. I never said he had not done wrong before. I said at least we are spending now. It's bang wrong what he has done before. I'm everything that's wrong? I have supported this club for 32 fucking years and had a season ticket for 25, been to Rotherham and Leverkusen. I whinge my tits off at how bad it is and curse my dad for introducing me to this shit but I fucking love games like today. I stopped going last season because of the cunt and the last 7 years have been atrocious but I also see money being spent now which may only scratch the surface of last 7 year but at least there has been adjustments and not continuing with same stance. It may be he has dropped his arse over relegation threats but I just hope its changing.

  11. It's almost as if he can only play one half of a season. Patterns emerging and come downs are a bitch

Might argue he should make better choices of staff but happier we have Ashley than Lerner/Short at this point. 70 million in 2 windows is either trying to protect investment or trying to build. Not sure he's the issue this time round

This. We have gradually got better, we are passing the ball and not as open as beginning of season
  14. Needs time and support. Another striker would help take pressure off a bit as would us playing higher up the pitch
  15. Had the type of game he's capable of where he dominates midfield. He battered them at times. Best when asked to play simple. He will hump the little chinese kids
  16. I think it's interesting we bought him whether successful or not it shows they are backing McLaren and letting him have his say in transfers. Obviously Pardew was just asking for Mullins
  17. Always quite liked Shelvey so happy for this to come off although remember his horror shows can't remember who it was against last season (Maybe Liverpool?)
  18. We need 2 more big splashes at least. Striker and Winger crucial unless he is hoping Aarons stays fit or Thauvin comes good. A centre half would be good as well but not as crucial as actually scoring goals at this point in time.
  19. No brainer for him, surely? He definately should choose Bournemouth
  20. thing is I'm not convinced by either in cm either, consistently sissoko has been most effective on the right and wijnaldum has not impressed me in cm when he's moved there or started there, seemed fairly anonymous Would Save It, Voldemort and Wijnaldum maybe work as a 3 with Perez, Mitro and Sissoko further up?
  21. He probably will start just on left wing or left back. The Ginger Joker is here forever
  22. He'll be shit, everything we touch turns to shit. On other hand if he's mobile, athletic and defensively sound he would be an upgrade on our centre midfield, height would be handy but able to cover the ground and tackle more important in centre mid for me - If he's remotely intelligent (Although doubtful if he wants to sign here) and tactically astute even better. Welcome to the right wing son, bye Moussa see you at Palace in 2 years time.

You would probably look at creating more than 1 clear chance a game though. It's costing us because we are not getting enough chances. Part of that is down to coaching, part is down to recruitment as he doesn't have a balanced team to pick. It would help having a couple of decent wingers (Why the fuck they bought Thauvin is beyond me). If they do keep him they just need to back him, let him pick his players and see where it goes. If it's then total shit then it's all down to him. I don't like him but he is picking up from a whole load of shit in our squad that have been coached badly for last few years. The problem we have is we need points quickly.

In some ways it's a difficult one because we are a lot more solid than earlier in season but we can't score goals / win games. We are still too unbalanced and need to open teams up. He isn't helping picking 3-5-2 which rarely works and is not natural for us.
