Rozehnal is a looking good to be honest. Cacapa looked strong and pacy and on that basis I would quite happily let the three (or 4 if Faye is here) use their talents in different situations. Taylor will get a game but I can't help but feel he will have a fair old struggle on his hands. In many ways it will do him the world of good. He got in the side on reputation as a good youngster. So far he has believed his own press. It's time he worked on his weaknesses. If he does that then he may well end up a good Premiership player. Good luck to the kid. I agree with most of what you have said there, but I cant say I've seen signs of Taylor believing his own press. He seems like a decent professional... unless I've missed something.

I cant believe that, he may be money grabbing or whatever but whenever hes on the pitch, most of the time he looks like he wants to play. In that respect the lad just cannot catch a break with all his injuries. I saw one of my team mates snap his arm at football on Saturday and he was screaming in agony, wouldnt wish that upon anybody. I cracked the bone in my arm once and it fucking caned.

Jesus christ, if thats true I feel bad for saying to my mate, "I hope he breaks his leg"
-
I dunno who he was chasing at the weekend when Boro were on the break but when he was tracking back he looked pretty bloody quick.

I think if Allardyce could get the potential/ability Emre has out of him, he could be that kind of player.

Not great again, probably better than the Villa game, Viduka showed his class not celebrating rather than being a cunt like Mido. Cacapa looked superb, I know we have to give him a chance but Smith was non existent again today. I really dont like Butt, can't wait until Emre and Barton are back. I was annoyed to see Martins go off, thought Viduka should have gone off, although I guess I was proven wrong. I guess 2-2 away from home isn't a bad result, not too much we could have done about the goals really.

long ball up to Dyer? makes sense!

what we need is grit and steel in our team before we can progress any further, his attributes suit what we need at the moment. Im not his biggest fan but we have to be patient and let him settle before jumping on his back. Not when he's playing alongside two grafters in Butt & Geremi. We need someone with flair and the ability to pick a pass. I agree with that, I personally cant stand Butt so wouldnt play him. Id Like to see Geremi sit in for 2 of Emre, Barton or Smith. Either that or purchase a creative player. I think Dyer would have been ideal at the front a 3 man midfield.

he's a slighlty richer man's parker. i know what you mean. I think people need to give him a chance, rather than coming out with shite based on 1 game.

HOW THE FUCK! nicky butt has been terrible!
-
I cannot stand butt!
-
You might be joking but he was the only player we had who could turn these sort of games in our favour. Gutted he has left to be honest. You must be the only one. I am as well

Offense? I think it's safe to say that anything involving Emre will be s*** though. bollocks tbh Ok, you've convinced me. that was easy I had no comeback tbh. I could of course turn it into a debate which will end up with someone saying "Parker was to blame for Emre being completely ineffectual in all but 4 of his games for us" but I'll leave it for another day. Anyone got a theory of why we can't actually score at home? On this particular day theres a lot of pressure on them to perform and everyone is settling in, so its bound to be nervy! passing has been awful tho!

Want Everton to win, but I reckon Spurs will do them 2-1 after a kick up the arse from Sunderland.

agree.. high expectations that go unfulfilled can spell disaster for a manager. i agree with you guys, but do you think that sam will fullfill these expectations? i seem to think so, saturday was the first time i have ever watched newcastle and not shat my pants anytime the opposing team crossed half(started supporting 2002), that said, i dont even think that was our best back four we could have had, with cacapa and enrique not playing. all we needed was to sort out the defence if you ask me, we've allways been able to score no matter what. top 6. I personally think that there is a very good chance he will fullfill these expectations, possibly with a bit of luck, and a lack of key injuries (although I think we are in a better position now to cope with them), and he could sneak a 4th-6th position this season. We just have to be patient when things start to go against us because they will at some point or other.

Ian Wright in The Sun reckons we'll finish 5th above Arsenal this year. Think I'll remain cautiously optimistic. Must be fucking Allardyce off though, he's trying to quietly go about his ways to get some stability to the club and people are talking to the media raising everyones expectations.
