If he is insistent on 4-3-3 I'd like to see Given Beye Rozehnal Cacapa Enrique Geremi Emre N'Zogbia Milner Martins Owen It would allow you to revert to 4-4-2 if necessary, although there would be question marks over Owen would be suited there on his own, and whether Emre, Geremi and N'zogbia would offer enough protection between them. There was a game, I think it was an Ajax game where there was a drop ball from miles out and when it was played back it lobbed the keeper, so they let them walk it into the net. Complete reverse of fair play there was a German game, think it was Bayern where one team scored, had it disallowed and whilst they were celebrating the opposition went up the other end and scored!

Unfortunately we are going to have to go through these games whilst the players/manager get used to each other. Im not happy about how shite we played yesterday and its quite embarassing to lose to a team thats shipped 10 goals in 2 games but as was said right from the offset patience is needed and we cant be jumping on the players/managers backs as soon as something bad happens because it was inevitable. When/If everyone is fit Allardyce is gonna have a massive problem keeping everyone happy, some big names arent even gonna be on the bench. Its nice having some depth for a change, but it feels weird, im not used to it.

Care to justify that nonsense? What in his time here has he done apart from the Sunderland match? He's one of our highest paid players, and we get nothing out of him for months on end. Permanently injured, was the same at Inter, and when he's on the field he's inconsistent, slow, weak, one dimensional and dirty. I wouldnt say he was slow or weak at all tbh. Everyone is expecting Allardyce to get more out of the players we have at the club, so the same must be said about Emre, if Allardyce can bring out the actual ability he has (because technically he is probably our best player) regularly, then he would be one of the first on the team sheet in my opinion. If he is going to be in and out with injuries again this year then I can understand him being sold. I wouldnt want him to go though. He's painfully slow. People knock Milner for his pace, well i'd bet my house he'd out run Emre all day long. Emre will always be injured, its all his body knows what to do. Emre at his best and fully fit would be an asset to the club, only that will never happen. Another over paid, over hyped foreigner whose failed at the club. I dont see where you're getting this painfuly slow thing from, I must be missing something. I would like to see him suceed here, and he still can, Im definitely not gonna give up on him whilst he plays for us. Id say realistically though he's got until Jan to prove himself
