There was an impact but, in the incident concerned the impact was to the top of the other thigh. He went down holding his left while the impact went to his right. When the trainer came on Willock could be seen mimicking a pulling motion with his hands. Like everyone I am hoping that it was just something very minor but, at the same time completely fearing the worst. Even minor injuries at Newcastle seem to manifest in ~8 weeks layoff. Such a shame because when he plays he can be outstanding!

Guessing our interest melted away

Wonder what Guehi is making of all this? Is he genuinely interested to join us? He and Gordon seemed to be pretty close in the Euros.
-
Players like Gallagher are very common, he is basically their Longstaff. Useful but, not spectacular. They probably have plenty of other players just like him. Failing that we have one they can buy
-
They seem to have no concept of football and finance at that mess of a club. You simply do not finish a toe nail above the relegation places with a team full of 20+M rated players.....

By this late stage the shifts at Nissan will all be fixed... there will be hell on when 10k ticket holders are sadly unable to attend the opening fixture.

Hope it doesn't alter his dreamboat appearance! 🤣😍

I feel it is very clear that the Saudi's have been doing their bribing again. Shame on us. (Just getting in early before the mackems wake up)

Ah damn, I just bought a new Adidas top and then popped straight round to Greggs for a pie... You can guess the rest! Will be trending on RTG by lunchtime today! (clearly I did not do this, it is just for comedic effect)

Score would have been worse!

Wonder if the loans they owe are interest free or gathering compound interest based on current bank rates..... ? The interest on an 18M loan would be crippling with their revenue. Oh fuckin' dear!!!
-
They must have at least 10k season ticket holders who no longer bother to turn up... Suppose when season tickets were practically free there is no incentive to use them. Same can be said for watching turgid football in a cesspit of a stadium surrounded by marauding seagulls and a million empty crisp packets swirling around in the wind, why ruin your weekend?

That is awesome. What a great animation, thanks for sharing that All of those options look great, no matter how they decide to do it the disruption is going to be significant. Option C would be incredible.

Oh crap. Yes, I knew it was the deaf... why I wrote blind is beyond me! Thanks for not being too brutal on me! Cheers!

The final comment??? Regarding the sponsor.... Royal National Institute for the Blind.... tell me that someone on their pathetic site pulled that prick on that amazing comment!!!

In JD at the Metro Centre I saw that they have a new version of Adidas Kick on the shelf, the forerunner to the Samba for those old enough to remember. I am picking a pair up for my 5 a side as my current Samba's are just about done. Not cheap though..... Bloody 85 Quid!

Don't want to go over the same stuff about Dummett from last night but, he was terrified to play football from the moment he came on the pitch... It has been too long since he played and now he is completely finished, watching him look to offload the ball to someone else from the moment he received it was actually quite pitiful. I think a youngster who is getting regular football with the reserves of the U21's would have been a far better choice to come on at the end when Hall was finished. My lad says Alex Murphy is really good and deserves a chance, I have not seen him play so I am not able to comment.

Ballot Working Group Supporter Event Newcastle United are committed to working alongside fans to improve the ticketing experience for all our matchday attendees. After direct consultation with over 600 supporters on areas of fan interest at our recent We Are United event, we are pleased to announce the first supporter workshop on the ballot process. The primary focus of the workshop is to help shape further enhancements that reflect the needs of supporters. It will allow fans to deliver feedback and propose ideas for the consideration of our Fan Advisory Board and the Club at large as we move forward in creating strategic dialogue between supporters and the Club’s key decision makers. To enable discussion between a wide range of fans, there are both in-person and online spaces available; you will have the option to select your preferred mode of attendance when completing the availability form. Should the event be oversubscribed, attendance will be allocated via a ballot system. Please click the link below to register your interest in attending this event no later than 12pm (UK time) on 13 February 2024. Attendees will be notified if they have been successful by 4pm on 14 February 2024 (UK time). Please be aware that this event is invitation only, for supporters aged over 18. -
It seems to be a part of their coping mechanism to convince themselves that every team raises their game considerably when they play Sun'lun rather than to simply admit that they themselves are complete dogshit and can easily be beaten by any of their "Champo" rivals.
-
Almost definitely that but, way beyond the imagination of any Sun'lun fan to realise that...

We had a family gathering at our place yesterday and one of the fellas that came is a Sunderland fan so I offered to put the match on the teevee for him vs. Hull. I watched it on and off and I can honestly say that the football played by both teams was quite a low standard. There was no closing down, tons of space in the penalty area and very little pace to speak of. A player like Isak would have a field day against either of those sides. Of course I am not stupid enough to underestimate how the Sunderland team will come out against us but, we should have more than enough to deal with them comfortably. Even my guest - who is a very decent bloke and not at all like the rabid bunch of crazed lunatics on RTG - said that he expects Sunderland to get a lesson from us....
-
Anyone who is having negative thoughts about Trippier or the team in general should just take a leaf out of Edfie Howe's book and just show a little bit of balance... Yes we are struggling but, the players are giving all they have for him. Our injury situation and the intensity of the games have taken a toll but, Howe s not on TeeVee crying and moaning... instead he is honest, open and most importantly he is supportive towards the squad.
-
I hear that a few tickets are showing as available in L7 for this game. For anyone interested!!

Just seen a replay of that incident. It defies explanation. Unbelievable.
