Oh yeah, let's have more speculation base on nowt, my fave
-
I'm sure the club don't consider him a "get rid of this guy at all costs" player.
-
Almiron won't play that much anyway. It'll either be Murphy or a switch to Barnes/Gordon on the wings.
-
Craig, he didn't confirm it's not possible

The writing is horrific but it’s nice to get some details. Shame we have to rely on such absolute weapons for our news, but there you go.

It’s really not baffling -
Have you got insider info?

I really need to stop coming on here -
Very easy to explain though.

Hard balance though, isn’t it? You have to be specific about the profiles of player you want to really improve the team, and it increases the chances that your signings will be successful.
-
Think this window is a bit early for Mitchell effect to really show, he just arrived and presumably other people had our targets already lined up.
-
Well if perfect is CB and RW, a top CB has to be a decent window I guess. Kelly is a good signing and getting a third striker in is also very useful. Suppose a 6/10 if we get Geuhi, 10/10 if we get a good winger as well.

I agree VAR is an overall negative factor in football but I think incidents like this are one of the better ways to use it. -

Agree, I think it's clearer because of the way he's reaching his arm over Burn and down in front. That aspect is why I thought it would be disallowed at the time. -
He's class IMO, defensive deficiencies are much exaggerated. I've never noticed him being that bad defensively. If anything he got dropped because of poor ball retention against Southampton. I can understand sometimes that how might basically want a CB in that position to shut up shop, but I didn't think against Bournemouth should have been one of those times. Basically we had Bruno, Isak and Gordon who are great technicians and everyone else who couldn't cope with the speed of the play.

I thought it was the bottom of the sleeve as well, I think most people do. Like I've said before, football is a weird sport where everyone involved doesn't know the rules. -

For me it's a handball for that reason. And also for the pundits to have a really good laugh about never having read the guidance is absolutely embarrassing. They should all have studied the laws of the game and the referees guidance back to front, or they shouldn't be analysing games. -

I'm not sure if that's how handball reviews work. I think they're just making a call on "factually" did the ball hit the shoulder or the arm. -
Please give him a chance.
-
Don’t think you could say that if we get Guehi. Fans want attackers because they’re sexier but I wouldn’t call it a poor window if we make a big signing and don’t lose a big name.

I believe it’s a handball. Could be because of the fact it’s the arm over Burn’s shoulder that allows him to get any contact at all. Dunno. Mixed bag of a performance, took a lot of positives from the lineup we ended the game with. We will never look a really top team while we’re carrying so many players lacking top-level technique. I know Howe ball might never be possession-based but there has to be some sort of minimum level of being good at football that’s needed. -
