Good game today. Didn't make any obvious mistakes I can remember, and gave their defence a torrid time in the air.

Our team is actually more suited to good football, which is why the long ball shit of recent games has been confusing. We mixed it up well tonight though, no problem with that. And also, you never know how much of the previous long ball football was tactical or down to the players running out of ideas, especially with a weakened back four.

I didn't realise how technically good a player he was, possibly because he's big and black [/suarez]. Absolutely brilliant though, amazed we nabbed him on a free.

I prefer the ones that bounce out, preferably off the bar as well.

Typical performance really, at times he shows brilliant technique but at others he fucked up some very basic stuff. IMO Obertan is a much better option in right midfield.

He showed his intelligence to alter his position brilliantly today I thought. He realised that Man Utd were throwing midfielders forward and he dropped into the space excellently. And obviously an awesome finish.

Fair play to Pardew, I wasn't happy to see Shola starting instead of HBA but he obviously had a plan and it worked a treat.
