The little look up before the strike also made it better for me... he hit it exactly where he intended. What a Shoment.
-
Somehow he's helping out more defensively and attacking better, which is strange.

Championsleagueometer?

What a waste of money. Liverpool probably bought it.

I would place the blame for their goal first on Colo for passing it into Cabaye under such pressure, then Taylor for his rash tackle and lastly Cabaye for maybe being a bit slow in possession. Doesn't matter either way though, great performance and good result. I don't think Taylor's challenge was necessary, he could have just tracked Adebayor's run, but he only had a split second to decide.

I think even the top teams struggle to mark an intelligent player who makes defenders come out where they don't want to be.
-
Didn't see anything yesterday to suggest he "needs to be dropped"... he had a decent game with a couple of sloppy errors, that's all.

Need to find a new flat before the weekend so I can travel up for this, otherwise I'll have to have viewings. Usually I'd be posting that this could be a potential slip up, but the way we're playing at the moment I'm relatively confident of a win. Would start HBA then take him off after 60mins if he needs it.

Pretty sure I saw Aaron Hughes going into South Kensington tube station this morning.

Foreign owners 'want end to Premier League relegation'
AyeDubbleYoo replied to taxfree's topic in Football
You may as well reduce the Premier League to 8 teams and have them all chasing the 4 Champions League spots. The bottom 2/3 of the league would become almost completely meaningless. Worst idea since multiball TBH. -
Most of the comment in that RTG thread is pretty fair minded, nice to see. Sunderland fans must be feeling rough as hell at the moment.
-
I wouldn't expect any changes in the team TBH, they're even less likely now we did well against Spurs. I don't mind that TBH, better not risk the team spirit by dropping players who are getting results. Santon and HBA will get their chances. Would like to see more of Marveaux as well, he looks class.

Vaughan's a good player TBF, but if we'd signed O'Shea and Brown I would be depressed. Letting Gyan leave looks an error as well, would have thought Brucey could have given him a kick up the arse and got him motivated again.
-
Fair enough, I was joking about it anyway because obviously he scored. I just meant he didn't strike it cleanly - obviously he did what he needed to do. I wasn't criticising him.

The Magedia Thread - Sunderland suck trollolololol

I almost wish we were fifth so pundits would stop talking about us and the top four. We know we won't come anywhere near fourth but we can still enjoy our excellent start to the season. -
Yohan Cabaye (now sporting coordinator at Paris Saint-Germain)
AyeDubbleYoo replied to a topic in Football
Incredible how good our central midfield area is now, Cabaye and Tiote are an ideal pairing and both class individually as well. Can't wait for when Cabaye cracks in his first goal. -
I wasn't being sarcastic, it was a horrible finish, he miss hit it and hit it straight at the keeper. Obviously it didn't make any difference, and it was almost impossible to miss, that's why I thought it was OK to point it out!
-
Didn't think he was bad yesterday, he misplaced a couple of passes but other than that he moved and passed well. Sometimes doesn't realise that he could just knock the ball and destroy his opponent down the line. Hopefully that's something the coaching staff are working on with him.
-
Another horrible week for me, most of my players were rotated out. Dzeko, Aguero and Rooney didn't start. Only player showing more than appearance points is Micah Richards.
-
Good morning to you too.

I think Wenger's main problem is his players at the moment, the quality just isn't there. The team today looked pretty average on paper. If Van Persie gets injured he is fucked.
-
We could go until Man City I reckon, but then again we could also lose to Stoke. Today's result should give us confidence though, and Santon/HBA approaching the team should help.
