Keegan dealt another blow as trusted assistant Cox leaves Newcastle
AyeDubbleYoo replied to a topic in Football
Christ on a bike, "another blow"?, "under fire"? - what the feck are they on about? Nobs. -
Seems a bit box-to-box leaning towards attacking. The new Frank Lampard... hope we get him but IMO it would be a mistake for him personally to move on so soon after only one good season at City.
-
I like it better than the away top as well, if it wasn't for the lighter area under the sponsor - that spoils it a bit.
-
Bring it on

Keegan picks a pair of jeans, Wise suggests a newer pair Jimmenez suggests a nice pair of shorts Ashley complains the shorts are too expensive NE5 complains that under Shepherd we had the 5th best pair of jeans in the history of the premiership Keegan walks out. Ashley sells up, spits on the badge and publicly wipes himself with a toon shirt.
-
Everytime I speak to a mate from down south I get things like "trouble with the toon again eh?" and shit like that. I'm amazed that anyone thinks this stuff actually happens.
-
If we sold them Smith then hijacked the Moutinho deal, that would be doing business.
-
I saw Bald Eagle Jim Smith in Oxford for the second time today, only just found out he's on the board of Oxford Utd. Thanks Wikipedia.

Fabricio Coloccini signed from Deportivo La Coruña on 5 year deal
AyeDubbleYoo replied to Cronky's topic in Football
Do you reckon Wise has a massive bet on how many pages this thread will run to, so the club aren't announcing the deal? He wants another 50 pages of this: - "I'm worried" - "Don't be worried" - "I am worried" - "Don't be worried" In a peep show style. -

Looks like we have pulled off a couple of quality signings so far, maybe could do with a bit more quantity but I think KK, little Dennis and co have done some good work. -
threw sir bobby's faith in him back in his face by being a twat about being asked to play on the wing and chucked the captain's armband on the floor iirc. sir bobby wanted to make him vice captain with a view of taking over from big al. dyer also - - - dodgy video's with lampard, out on the piss in town too much for a pro footballer, crashing his porsche into the swing bridge... To be fair I'd forgotten about the refusing to play on the wing thing, that was bad. But the other stuff really is nobody's business, as far as I could see he always tried more than hard enough on the pitch. Anyway, I was always a fan!
-
Dunno what people have against Dyer really... let himself down with the Bowyer fight but other than that he's just been unlucky with injuries.
-
At his age with the talent he had he's definitely not 'finished'. There's every chance he can put together some good form... let's hope it happens.

Name a black dude with dreads. Footballer status optional.

Not very. You can mention the words 'black' and 'man' in a sentence without it being racist. I agree with you there. -

Jeez, how racist is this thread? -
I think you're being a bit harsh on the recuritment team, we've made some good additions already, and I'm sure we've tried for even better. The fact is we're not that attractive a prospect at the moment, and Ashley isn't going to stump up stupid fees and wages to attract players. Spurs are clearly on the up, with Ramos a well respected european manager. Players under 25 probably haven't heard of Keegan. Man City had Sven's extensive player scrapbook, we have a manager who just came back into the game. We'll get back to where we were, but it will take a few of these 'decent' rather than 'amazing' transfer windows.

The Magedia Thread - Sunderland suck trollolololol
AyeDubbleYoo replied to Rocker's topic in Football
Fair point, it's ridiculous to say at this point who has been more successful in the transfer market, Sunderland have done OK but so have we. -
Really rate Muamba, surprised he didn't hold out for a better club. Maybe Bolton will go down and we will be able to move on again I suppose...
-
Class act, let's hope this season is just as good for him...

Do Spurs know that spending money isn't actually going out of fashion?

Fabricio Coloccini signed from Deportivo La Coruña on 5 year deal
AyeDubbleYoo replied to Cronky's topic in Football
Sentanta saying Colo was seen in Toni & Guy in Monument Mall, but they refused to touch the hair in case he lost all of his strength. -
Yours look horrid atm. Captain going, signed 2 yank GK's & picked up ginger cockney. I'm happy with the keepers, very. And Sidwell. The problem is that we still need another 5 or 6 decent players to stand still, and it just isn't happening. We've got 2 fit defenders at the club, and one of those is Zat Knight. And Stephen Carr is still unattached. Fuck Barry, the sooner the fat arsed cunt gets out of the club, the better. In fantasy football Villa's squad does look a bit worrying like, in some games they only have about 3 defenders listed.

Eric Cantona, like it. Not a big fan of autobiographies, but do fancy getting the SBR one. -

Selling Alan Smith will negate the benfit of signing Coloccini? mackems.gif Well marking Smudger in training would boost his confidence. But then again, it would threaten his legs, so not sure what to think. -
Has it fuck, we can't stand the guy's constant running about like a headless chicken and never ending string of yellow cards.
