Not daft at all, after the horror we were feeling (at one point we really did look like going down) I think we deserve to feel a bit happy, even if otherwise top half wouldn't be considered that good.

Hahnemann no chance, IMO he's worse than both Given and Harper (although Shay is in bad form). He's a decent stopper but nothing like the level we need. Also, if Reading stay up I imagine he'll finish his career there.

Don't think we'll do it, but we'll have a good go. We have a couple of tough games amongst the winable ones (but I thought that about Spurs I suppose!)

Aye, Faye was goalside nice and tight but the ball just came at a perfect angle and Bent did excellently to glance it in. Don't think we can really blame Faye for that one.

I wouldn't have a problem with him getting a second chance under the new manager. He will need to improve though.

My most memorable is prob the Baggio world cup final penalty miss, tragic... and an iconic image of the great man slumped on the penalty spot. Loads to do with Newcastle though, Tino vs Barcelona was quite good!

Very true, you can only get limited success by setting out to break up the opposition and destroy the game. To really go places you need to have a style of your own and impose it on the opposition.
