  1. I’m not 100% sure they’re that professional. Look at how FIFA do their deals... seat of the pants and brown envelopes all over the place. The launch of this doesn't bode well at all.
  2. The website looks like they didn’t expect to have to launch it, was the initial thing a leak?
  3. Tend to agree, it seems too absolutely mental to actually take place. Who knows obviously, but that’s the way I’m leaning at the moment.
  4. I don’t think I would watch the remaining Premier League either TBH, the integrity of it would be absolutely wrecked. Good excuse to move on from football completely.
  5. Are Spurs supported widely around the world? Why?
  6. I guess stuff like the IPL in cricket works because there’s not the history or money in the rest of the domestic game? Given we already have incredibly rich leagues and European cups, it’s hard to picture how clubs and players would be better off. I could live with more regular games between clubs from different countries though, if it didn’t replace the domestic leagues.
  7. Yeah, that’s what I was asking really. Are there enough interested fans and will they pay enough for the subscriptions? Guess there must be. TBH there is a certain enjoyment to American sports with no promotion and relegation. You can just enjoy the game and it doesn’t really matter that much if you have a bad season. Obviously that removes a lot of the drama as well.
  8. The Premier League is an ironic body to be making a stand against money in football, but I do agree.
  9. But even on TV. I’m not buying Sky to watch it, presumably vast amounts of other fans would be the same.
  10. Who would actually want to watch? Does the Chinese TV audience (or whatever) deliver enough money to replace all the existing fans?
  11. Do they not show the lines on screen for VAR offside checks now?
  12. Said it for ages, he has to play just because he actually seems to know we’re in a relegation battle. Everyone else doesn’t seem to have a clue.

    Joe Willock

There’s no chance unless we get a takeover IMO. He’d be mad to sign for us.
  14. Of course, but we really want it done before then.
  15. Moving from a 4 to a 3. Is fairly unlikely now, but it’ll be interesting if we lose the next 4.
  16. Imagine the pressure if we're not safe going into those last two games Jesus H.
  17. Yeah, I'm tempted to focus on their injuries but it doesn't seem to have made any difference to them. Certainly not the extent that ours have.
  18. By all accounts it was us that delayed the arbitration by challenging the guy on the panel.

    England

Hopefully it's more of a fundamental improvement than a single generation. If you look at Sterling being nearly 10 years older than Bellingham, it's a good sign.
  20. You wouldn't think so based on what he's done with our shops.
