Yeah completely, I don't really have an answer but it's rubbish. Wish more than anything that I'd taken up a couple of cheap ST under Ashley. Even keeping the seat empty would've been worth it in hindsight. Personally I would have done this based purely on cup game attendance and nothing to do with holding a ST, but maybe the numbers would have worked out similar anyway.

I agree but I can’t get too angry because ST holders have always ruled everything in football. So I’m disappointed but I was expecting it. The Liverpool approach seems much fairer to people who’ve actually been to the games. But that said, those ST holders who didn’t bother are probably quite a small number. Even if they didn’t go they would have bought tickets and sold/given them to people off the record.

Most people who forward or resell their ticket probably do it informally anyway, so the club will have no record. Certainly for home games.

Even though I enjoyed the cup games, I did have it in my head that it would impossible to go the final so it was a bit of a double-edged sword. Possibly next season watch them on TV.

I’m really surprised they didn’t go for a ballot for each pot. Even if they gave far fewer tickets to the member pots, it would give some people a chance. Allowing the early pots to buy them all up is annoying. That said, sounds like a few thousand will be left since people can only buy one each.

But in that case it would be OK, because the person would be in the same pot due to having attended cup games.

Guess some will come up on the resale market because ST holders who haven’t been bothered to attend a cup game now have the chance to get a very valuable ticket for the final.

The wording seems to suggest it could sell out before pot 4 even starts.

If the initial pots are not ballots and it can sell out before pot 4, then we have no chance. I had assumed they would distribute the tickets across the pots and they would all be ballots. Disappointing but knew only ST holders have a good chance to go. Even a 1 in 1000 chance would’ve been nice, this is zero. Can’t see it even reaching members. Even if you don’t want to go you would buy a ticket and tout it for loads of money.

His age isn’t really a factor. If he was 32 and could stay fit he’d be ideal for a rotation with Isak and Osula.

I guess some people don’t think his role was pivotal. Need to say regularly though, I like how much he cares and tries. Maybe too much sometimes. He just can’t play football very well sadly.

Said before I really like Joe White from what I’ve seen. Elegant mover and great balance, sharp and neat passing. Dunno if he has what it takes to make it at the top level but he’s a nice player.
