I would agree. Whilst in an ideal world he should not be starting for us, he is one of the better forwards that we have at the moment in terms of movement, pace and goal scoring record. Could be good cover for next season, although I would hope he'd be playing with the reserves and only coming into the first team picture when the shite really hits the fan in injury-terms.

I think people forget.. he's here apparently to sit on the bench and be backup for when we need a change of tactics late in the game. In that respect I don't think he's to bad given the other option was a Boro cast-away.. We obviously though need to address our striking options come the summer.. :|

For 8 million I'd be tempted, but I'd rather not see a flimsy squad weakened further as there is no guarantee how much at that 35 we're actually going to spend.
