  1. Depends what you mean by 2nd rate, he's not good enough to get in a top 4 side, but he's the best crosser we have now. I now get slightly excited when we get a corner instead of wondering why the ref doesn't just give them a goal kick and save everyone some time. Colo I agree with but I think it's because he has no protection from the midfield. He'll come good.
  2. I would. Particularly when we are signing 2nd rate players while making profits from transfer windows in sales. Which 2nd rate players, I think all signings have been decent bar Xisco but he hasn't played.
  3. This doesn't even make sense, you can only come into the first team if you have first team experience? How are you supposed to get first team experience if you aren't allowed to step up? I thought the whole point was the 'reserves' come into the first team to prove themselves. The plan we've been sold is that talented youth will replace expensive flops. My point is that none of the youth brought in over the last 2 years are anywhere near ready to step up to be first team regulars. The only two that have made the starting 11 this year made their first team debut's almost 3 years back. And they've only managed a few starts between them. Is Bassong not ready?
  4. There's only 17 people confirmed, confirm peoples, I will book this as soon as we have 22.
  5. Come on people get confirming so I can book the badger.
  6. I reckon we'd be actively trying to flog Duff and Butt (probably to someone like Birmingham or Wigan) but, either way, with a few decent 'stayers' we'd have enough to come straight back up. Edit - I think Nolan would stay too. Firstly, I think he'd want to and secondly, on a 4 year deal we'd be wanting decent money for him. Nolan and Guthrie in the middle would run 90% of Championship games. Aye, you're probably right, thinking about it Barton would probably stay as well. I know hhe's an idiot but he seems quite committed to the club. Imagine Barton and Nolan as a cm partnership on the Championshit. Its probably wings where we would be weakest.
  7. I reckon if we go down our first 11 without new signings will be thus. Harper Raylor Taylor Kadar Enrique LuaLua Butt Guthrie Duff Lovenkrands Ameobi/Ranger I reckon good enough to come back up with a few signings
  8. Crap, becasue we probably wouldn't and we'd end up in the middle of the Championshit for the next few years.
  9. Aye but he laso has no legs, you'll need that gainst hull. I'm sick of these fecking injuries, if we'd had Barton and Nolan(if we'd had him then) fit all season we'd be about 10th.
  10. Geremi for me all day. Ahead of Guthrie? You so crazy.
  11. Guthrie's back for this one I think which will be good. Smith and Guthrie CM with an unchanged side.
  12. I know Raylor is versatile but come on.... He played cm for the last game. You've got him at RB and CM. I agree he can play CM. Balls, Saylor rb.
  13. I know Raylor is versatile but come on.... He played cm for the last game.
  14. I think the club asked them not to publish it, then when NUSC put up their biased one the club asked them to write a equally biased but opposite one.
  15. Harper Raylor bassong Colo Enrique Smith Loven Raylor Geremi Jonas Oba I'm going to go against the status quo and be optimistic, a score draw, we've drawn against them with a worse side. We drew 2-2 against them with this back 4 Solano, Taylor, Huntington, Edgar
  16. so diego's going to re-call himself to la selección to show them how to do it properly? lol Nah Aguero is taking on Maradona's name instead of her taking his.
  17. Aye we are going to lose anyway, may as well be 14-0.
  18. You forgot their usual "we hate Tottenham", which is sung by them every game. It should be mandatory for all fans, of all clubs to sing that.
  19. I never realised how stupid some of their statements are, trying to get sponsors to cancel their deals, also telling supporters not to buy kits, effectively ruining NUFC financially if all this occured. We would go into administration and be relegated. Yep. That's one of their mis-steps. I said as much myself at the time it was released... That's an interesting take, but as the NUSC seems primarily concerned with Ashley leaving at all costs I doubt they will be prepared to even contemplate entering a debate with Ashley's people. Parky's attutude of "f*** the club" in the short term is a good example of this thinking. It's a recipe for relegation if you ask me. If the club isn't sold, in my view it would be constructive for the NUSC to open a sensible dialogue with the current owners. If only to air complaints. Weren't the original statements that the NUSC was being set up as a long term voice of the fans rather than a petulant knee-jerk against those in power. If those currently in power end up here long term, is the intention to tear the club apart? http://www.toontastic.net/board/index.php?showtopic=21264&st=180&p=531465&hl=NUSCentry531465 It's a shame it's still up there now, given the more tempered approach they've recently taken. Given that they changed their approach, I only joined last week. Are you unwilling to change your mind because of a 5 month old statement or do you still feel they are as hard line? Genuine question I still think they are hard line but are putting on a front to appear to be more sensible in their views. I am confused now to exactly what their aims are other than trying to make the Ashley regime look worse, they way they wrote up this meeting is an absolute joke and if I was Llambias I wouldn't talk to them again.
  20. Ok happy face then why the hell is this on their website? I never realised how stupid some of their statements are, trying to get sponsors to cancel their deals, also telling supporters not to buy kits, effectively ruining NUFC financially if all this occured. We would go into administration and be relegated.
  21. That's on the opposite side of the monument to where the NUSC were speechifying. Seems to me anyone could have hoyed it up there. Like I said they could have took it down if some random bloke put it up. Also if you're protest is merely suggesting change you're not going to succeed, tell them what needs to be changed at least. What do we want.... Change When do we want it....Now What do we want to change...Erm...... Sorry to correct you, but they have no right to take down a banner that someone else puts up. If someone had put up a banner saying "We love Mike Ashley" they would have no right to take that down either. They would have no right but they could have said can whoever put that banner up please take it down or make it clear that NUSC did not put this up. It's obvious it was a member of NUSC who put that up anyway, if they weren.t there for the rally, I can't see some random person going for the metro had it on them and put it up. There were plenty of non-NUSC there. Some where quite voiciferous in their opposition. So who do you think put the banner up? Someone who opposes NUSC when their main campaign (despite refuting it) is to get Ashley out.
