How many has he actually got this season? I'm sure we could count on one hand his goal tally. Good riddance to him when he goes. He showed against Middlesbrough that he clearly doesn't care anymore and is just going through the motions.

Even though most people around me at the minute seem to think he's not good enough (which is ridiculous to judge as of now) I think he'll come good for us and we need him at this club. People say it's a no lose situation for him but he's came in with 8 games to go when there's a huge panic within the club and it's simply not enough time to change the mindset of the players. He's a legend but he's no magician and it's a bit unfair to expect him to be with the little amount of time he's been given. He is a strong personality who won't be anybody's mug and for the first time in a while I believe we're in safe hands. As much as I love Keegan, he is a bit of a ticking timebomb when it comes to walking out on clubs. If Shearer does stay then I'm actually looking forward to seeing which kind of players he'll be looking at bringing in and what kind of team he'll mould together because let's face it, whether we stay up or not there's a lot of work to be done.

Should they always mark the keeper or the corner flag like? They should make themselves available and not shirk their responsibilities. They should run when they see a through ball coming. They should run into space instead of holding hands with their markers. Yes they should make themselves available but it still doesn't stop Butt thinking he's Alonso trying to ping the ball 60 yards across the pitch to nobody. In addition to this, Nicky Butt shouldn't shirk his responsibilities either. Almost every single match without fail he drops a few of the same major clangers and 90% of the time leaves others to sort out the mess because he doesn't have the legs to keep up.
