Jesus. Pundits in contributing to the problem shocker. It'll only get worse when a bunch of morons are given a major platform to be morons. With VAR coming in, it could end up going the way of every single foul being checked, maybe rightfully so as well considering how bad diving is getting. The referee should at the very least be fed information on it. Make diving (if confirmed by VAR or if the ref is 100% certain) a straight red card. If they want to stamp it out then they should start taking a no nonsense policy. Players learn that they're becoming a liability by diving.

We all want Newcastle to win, I just don't get being upset over a meaningless game. The season is over for us more or less its all about getting Benitez to sign a new contract now. Safe or not, I'd much rather we compete for 10th instead of settling for 16th.

Not sure why people would single out Almiron for criticism. I'd say him and Diame were our best 2 players today in my opinion. They looked to get it forward while everyone else was set on playing it sideways or back to the defense.

It's like a mix of 1997-1999 and 2001-2003. 2001-2003 was my favourite shirt so I don't think this supposed leak is the worst in the world. It could have a little bit more to it on the sleeves though I think.

Agreed. I thought Barreca made some good overlapping runs when he came on and just got ignored by Kenedy something like 3 times, only to give away possession carelessly. No idea what's going on with him but he needs to sort himself out.
