I wonder what is attracting Joelinton to NUFC? I highly doubt he has ever heard of Steve Bruce. Could it be he'll get higher wages at NUFC than his current club and he's been told by NUFC that if he does well he'll be sold (at a profit) to a more ambitious club? Thought so.

They are still going - fuck them. The funny thing about NUFC.com is that some people hate them for "not speaking out for the fans" and others hate them for "thinking they speak for the fans". They are just two blokes who happened to secure the NUFC.com website in the early days of the internet for their fan site. Other fans sites don't seem to get the hate they do. I pity them for attending NUFC games. Maybe they make a living out of it?

I find it incredible that they are willing to pay £4m compensation when equally 'good' (if not better) managers are available for free. I doubt Ashley will pay to sack Bruce in a few months time though, he'll just accept the relegation and keep Bruce in charge.

He pretty much always delays the release of his companies accounts. The maximum fines for doing so are peanuts. He doesn't like answering to anyone so the more shares he owns the better for him. Drop some bad news, share price drops, Mike Ashley buys shares at new lower price. It's another of his standard operating procedures.

I take solace in the fact that those mugs are paying for the privilege to have an awful time.

I think you overestimate Bruce and underestimate the job Rafa did. As it stands the squad is a lot weaker than last season. Add in the toxic relationship the club has with the fans and NUFC are only going one way.

Well there certainly won't be a total boycott as Twitter and Facebook posts have shown "No one is stopping me going". Also, if there was a boycott Sky will love it. It's more 'drama' and more viewers for them.

They'll say "Mike Ashley doesn't want to put anymore of his own money into the club and that's fair enough".

I like the "Mike Ashley wouldn't miss my £600 season ticket money so I might as well keep going" excuse. Ashley may not care about £600 and it seems neither do those paying it.

You've got to love a Mike Ashley incentivised contract. The incentives are always almost impossible to achieve. Win a cup and I'll give you a £10m bonus (did I mention I've sold all the goal scorers?).
